I like this scene, and every scene with him before it. It just shows how corrupted he is by his mother. And it shows how he has a harder life than Kiara could even imagine. I like this scene because you can see just how bad it's gotten.

I also love when he and Kiara first meet. How he doesn't know how to play harmless games, and it shows how different they are. It also shows just how badly Kovu wants to have a friend outside of his sister (who was suppose to idolize him), and it also shows how unsure he is about everything.

I love character development XD
