Caroline turned to leave the bar, and came face to face with Klaus.
As usual, a jumbled mix of emotions ran through her, but today anger soaked every
thought and emotion she had where Klaus was concerned.
"Caroline" Klaus purred with his usual charm.
"Stay away from me" Caroline replied, almost growling.
Klaus' eyes narrowed "thought Du were giving the anger a rest, love"
His completely normal behavior, his Schauspielen like nothing had happened
sent rage bubbling through Caroline, eroding her usually pristine
control. Caroline closed her eyes, took a deep breath and headed for the door.
Klaus grabbed her arm "whats the matter, love?"
Carolines control snapped, "just stop!, stop pretending like Du care, like
Du didn't just kill a load of people, including Tyler's mom! who has done
absolutely nothing to you! Stop Schauspielen like Du have some redeemable quality when
I'm with you, and then proving me wrong. Stop trying to make me fall for
you, because its working. And the Mehr i fall for you, and the Mehr Du Zeigen just
how cruel and sadistic and selfish Du are, the Mehr Du make me hate myself
for what i feel for you, so just STOP!"
Caroline was shaking with rage and frustration, not to mention the slew of
self disgust.
It was lucky it was so late, and the grill was almost empty. God knows how
Bonnie and Elena would react if they heard all that, let alone Tyler oder Damon.
Caroline was Sekunden away from going for Klaus' throat, despite knowing
she wouldn't even get close to causing him any harm, and that he could kill
her in a teilt, split second. A week ago, Hell, A Tag Vor she might have thought he
would hesitate, but not anymore. God she had been stupid to think
there was something she could save in him, something in him that would be worth
saving.
