Jacob/Bella, New Moon

Jacob's POV
Where was Bella? I waited for her at her house but she never showed up. Charlie wasn't Home but Bella almost never went anywhere with Charlie. I kept knocking on the door until I found the door open.

Carefully, I went inside. Not a single human scent in the air. I checked everywhere, but not a single human anywhere. The I noticed the note left on the 'fridge.

My anger started to boil inside of me but I tried to calm myself. Once I calmed down, I smelled a vampire. As I turned around, I saw that Edward was standing in the living room.

"Where is she?" he asked in a furious voice.

"How...

I had to think fast. If I didn't act soon enough Edward would catch me with Jacob and then things would go ugly. So I rushed to the phone and started dialing Jacob's phone number.
"Hello?" a hoarse voice answered.
"Hey Jacob it's me Bella, we need to talk," I sagte nervously.
"Oh Hey Bella, what's wrong?"
"Look I need to Abbrechen the movie on Saturday,"
"Why?"
"Well it's because I kind of came down with something and I can't go anyway because I have to study for finals,"
"Oh ok then Bella well I hope we can do this another time."
"Sure. Thanks for understanding,"
"Okay. Bye,"
"Bye"
The line then went silent....

"Jacob I need to talk to you," I sagte as I got to his garage.
"About what?"
"About what happened in my house when Victoria almost got me"
"Oh yeah about that.."
"What happened is that we managed to chase her but she's too slippery."
"So where is she now?"
"Probably somewhere in Florida"
"You mean Du chased her all the way there?"
"Yep"
"Well why?You do realize my mother is there right?"
"We know. That's why we've set up an advanced detector which senses anything and shows Du anything in sight. As long as Du have a tracker"
