During 'Chat-Show,' the showcase for her new mini album 'Chat-Shire,' which progressed October 23 at Yongsan District's Understage, IU gave reasons for deciding not to promote on TV.
The singer-songwriter explained, "There will be no TV promotions whatsoever. There are a lot of reasons--I can't name just one. The first being that I took on a lot of projects this year. Since the beginning of this year, I acted in 'Producer' and was a part of 'Infinity Challenge.' All the while, I worked on my album. Once my album was finished, I realized something. I didn't think I was in the proper health condition to promote on TV. There is a gegeben amount of energy to a person and besides the energy that I have left for this year's concert, I think I exhausted it all. It was such a busy Jahr for me. I think if I overwork myself and do TV promotions, I may regret it later."
We completely understand, IU. Your health comes first!
