Is anyone else as concerned with Alex Pettyfer's age as I am?

Ok, for those of Du that read the book and absolutely LOVED it like me, are Du bothered Von the fact that John looks like a 28 Jahr old? I mean, come on! John is supposed to be a sophomore in high school. If I saw a sophomore that looked like him, I'd be terrified. It doesn't make sense to me. And I swear, if this movie ends up as horrible as Twilight... I might have to hunt down the director myself.

The casting directors thought he was the best choice and I don't know if Du want to trust them oder not, but they trust him to be the best person to play John.

As for if the movie ends up to be as worst as Twilight, we'll never know until it's released. But keep in mind that they did film the movie before the book was released so they might have a different take on it.

I kind of discussed this too, like sweet-twilight mentioned and made the point that there are other actors who have dilveried the convincing performances and real age are older than the characters they play. Logically, that would not affect Alex's performance in the movie, even though he looks slightly older than a 16 yea old ,we will see and Alex will prove to his Fans when I am number four hits the theatre.

well no one is making Du watch the movie, the rest of us are happy with what we've all seen so far!! FYI Alex is only 20 not 28!! I remember when Roswell came out and the guy playing Max was like 27 but his character was 15 and I still accepted it!!!

the ppl on Twilight look older than they're supposed to be and that includes the actors on Vampire Diaries!!

I don't think age is as big of a deal as most people make it. It's Mehr about how he plays the character than how old he looks. He's only 20, anyway. I think that if he does a good job playing the role, which he will, people won't even ruminate on whether oder not he looks like a sophomore.
