House woke-up, and checked the time on his alarm clock. It was 4 am, he looked the left and saw Cuddy soundly asleep. Barely covered Von a white cotton bett sheet, her bare back exposed as the night had become colder. House pulled it up to keep her warm, as he did so she made the softest and sweetest sound before she turned her turned over, facing him, with a slight smile on her face as she carried on sleeping.
House got out of bed, making his way to the living room. Sitting in silence, his mind filled with the thoughts of what had just happened. He couldn’t remember any of it, not like last time. Had he deteriorated even more? Was he beginning to lose time, and his mind?
The sun was nearing sunrise, and Cuddy awoke to find herself alone. Calling House’s name, she got no reply, she held onto the white cotton bett sheet. Wrapping it around her before walking to the living room, seeing House asleep on the sofa. With a smile, she turned back around and began to put on her clothes.
Cuddy:House
Cuddy sat on the edge of the coffee table, Weiter to House’s head. He was so peaceful, no leg pain and no hallucinations. It was the only time Cuddy had seen him completely serene.
House:What?
Cuddy: Wilson will be here soon.
House: Damn.
House sat up, and keeled over slightly as he felt the pain in his leg radiate even higher.
Cuddy: Are Du okay?
House: I’m fine.
Cuddy: If Du want to see me when you’re in there, Du can.
House: Thanks.
Cuddy: Okay. I’ve got to go. Are Du sure you’re—
House: Yes! I’m fine. Du can go.
Cuddy stood up, and grabbed her jacket.
Cuddy: Goodbye House.
Cuddy paused for a moment, before she left. House felt annoyed with himself for being an ass. She had stayed with him through the worst, without anything gegeben back to her. Maybe House did need this intervention.
