Huddy?
The Zurück episode House and Cuddy kissed. They are now purposefully avoiding each other unbeknownst to Wilson; who was trying to figure out what has happened.
Wilson walks into House’s office—with a plan to get some information out of him before he talks to Cuddy.
Wilson: Hey.
House: Hey.
Wilson: Have Du seen Cuddy at all this past week?
House: Err. Sure.
Wilson: She was a wreck last week—and now all of a sudden she is, fine.
House: Life altering decisions can do that to some people.
Wilson: Also. Du two have been avoiding each other like the plague.
(Wilson sat down opposite House.)
Wilson: I heard—through the grapevine, that Du haven’t been down to the clinic since last week either.
(House looked away and drank from his coffee mug.)
Wilson: Did Du do Mehr than—talk?
House: We did talk—depending on what the definition of ‘talking’ means to some people—By some people, I mean you.
(Wilson looked at House as the cogs turned inside his brain.)
Wilson: Du slept with her?
House: Why is it always sex?
Wilson: Because it IS always sex—did you?
House: Du talked to Cuddy yet?
Wilson left House and went down to Cuddy’s office; who jumped when she heard her office door swing, schaukel open.
Wilson: What the hell happened. House won’t say a word; and Du are paranoid.
Cuddy stood up from the sofa and walked towards her schreibtisch and sat down.
Cuddy: No. I’m not.
Wilson: Then, why did Du have the urge to jump when I walked in?
(Cuddy, tried to hide her nervous.)
Cuddy: Are Du finished playing Private detective? oder are Du going to do your job?
(Wilson sat down opposite her.)
Wilson: Come on, whatever he sagte to Du had to have made an impact. Du haven’t been in the same room, let alone the same part of the hospital, at the same time as each other in over a week.
Cuddy: I’ve been busy; adoption papers have to be re-written. Again.
Wilson: Are you—adopting again?
Cuddy: Highly unlikely it will happen. My personal situation is being put under Mehr scrutiny this time.
(Wilson looked regretfully at her.)
Wilson: I’m sorry—
Cuddy: Don’t be. I’m over it.
Wilson: That is exactly my point! —What happened?
(Cuddy looked down before deciding to finally tell Wilson.)
Cuddy: I went to his house.
(Wilson looked surprised.)
Wilson: Du did?
Cuddy: I was depressed, and lonely. I had a few drinks and decided to, knock on his door.
Wilson: Did Du sleep with him?
Cuddy: What? —No.
(Cuddy looked down then stood up and faced the window.)
Cuddy: I--kissed him.
Wilson looked shocked—then got up and left to go to speak to House, who was conducting a differential with his team.
Wilson: Do Du mind if we—‘talk’ for a second.
(House looked at Wilson and then walked past him and into his office, closing the blinds. Wilson followed.)
Kutner: Are they making out?
(Foreman looked intrigued at House’s office.)
Wilson: Du two kissed! – That’s what this is all about.
House: There is no ‘this’ – She was in a different state of mind.
Wilson: And that is the reason why Du two can’t look each other in the eye.
(House sat at his schreibtisch and looked at his cane.)
Wilson: It doesn’t have to mean anything—Cuddy feels the same way Du do about it. Just talk to her—and I mean talk in the actual talking sense of the word.
House: And say what?
(Wilson sat back down opposite House.)
Wilson: The way Du two are both reacting the same way to the situation means that there IS something there. That’s why Du two can’t talk about it.
(House looked at him with a worried look on his face.)
Wilson: You’re scared about what this may lead to. Maybe Du should just go talk to her—act the way Du usually do.
(House stood up and walked to Cuddy’s office.)
Cuddy spotted House walking towards her office and tried to pack some things into her aktentasche, aktenkoffer so she could leave, but House locked the door behind him.
House: Why have Du been avoiding me? Am I that much of a babe magnet?
Cuddy: ---I haven’t been avoiding.
House: Why are Du leaving at 4 in the afternoon?
(Cuddy looked nervous and embarrassed so sat back down in her chair.)
Cuddy: What happened the other week shouldn’t have happened. It was stupid and—
House: Du enjoyed it.
(House look gleefully at Cuddy, who was still trying to hide her emotions.)
Cuddy: No—I
House: Cool.
House: Du know. Things haven’t changed.
(Cuddy looked at him with relief.)
(House went to leave before saying.)
House: However—next time, bring a condom.
(Cuddy smiled and the tension was gone.)
House walked away with a smirk on his face.
