Harry Styles tells One Direction fans he "can't wait" to perform in Manila

Harry Styles has told One Direction fans he "can\'t wait" to perform in Manila, Philippines following Zayn Malik\'s tour exit.

Yesterday, Zayn, 22, left the One Direction \'On The Road Again\' tour to fly home to the UK after being signed off due to stress. No further details have yet been given.

While Zayn hasn\'t publicly commented on his tour exit, his bandmate Harry took to Twitter earlier today to tell fans he is still looking forward to taking to the stage.

Manila, can\'t wait for the shows. Looking forward to seeing you there. All the love

Within 15 minutes his tweet had been retweeted nearly 40,000 times and favourited nearly 55,000.

Despite Zayn\'s absence, Harry, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan will still take to the stage for the band\'s scheduled dates in Manila and Jarkata, Indonesia.

Like Harry, Niall too tweeted his excitement ahead of One Direction\'s first Manila show, he said: "Can\'t wait to see you all in Manila this weekend! Gona be a cracker."

The boys\' tweets come after 1D fans were left disappointed to hear Zayn will be taking a break from the tour. In an official statement from One Direction\'s management, the rest of 1D have wished their bandmate well as he recuperates back home in the UK.

On hearing news of Zayn\'s exit many have speculated if the young singer could be quitting the band altogether, but Simon Cowell\'s close friend Sinitta has shown her support for Zayn, insisting that "One Direction work non-stop" so he is no doubt in need of a rest.

It has since been reported that Zayn will rejoin the tour when it reaches Cape Town in South Africa at the end of the month.

Declaring his love for Perrie, Zayn tweeted on 18 March: "I\'m 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there\'s a lot of jealous f**ks in this world I\'m sorry for what it looks like x."
