I simply can't pick between the trio b/c i love them all, and all 3 of them are AMAZING!
Maggie is EXACTLY how I pictured mcgonagall since the first book and her acting is dead on =)
& also...Luna and Bellatrix!! You can't find two ppl more perfect for those roles than Evanna and Helena

Alan Rickman gives Snape that perfect blend of sinister creepiness with a hint of sadness that other less-capable actors would never have pulled off. You can hate him and love him at the same time. Rowling is really good at putting that forward in the book and Rickman is perfection in the films.

That was ridiculously hard. I think (in no particular order) that Rupert Grint, Julie Walters (who was on there twice, btw), Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis all do a stonking great job.

But I think Rupert is really great too. And Maggie Smith!

only one i really don't like is the new Dumbledore. He potrays Dumbledore very badly.... he has no sparkle, and he's kind of a dick....

Rupert is the PERFECT Ron. Theres a few others, Maggie as McGonagall and Alan as Snape, actually I think almost everyone else, that portrays their character amazingly good too. Really the only ones who don't are daniel as Harry, Emma as Hermione, and Micheal as Dumbledore. Frankly they are a complete let down and its quite a shame that they are such main characters too. But atleast everyone else rocks!

Rupert plays the part perfectly.Can't wait to see the ron/hermione scenes in the Half Blood Prince film. I would have choosen Julie Walters (Molly Weasley) second.Can't wait to see her and Bellatrix duel in the 7th film.

Also Alan Rickman.

God, everyone does so well. It's easier to list the ones I don't like. Which is basically Daniel Radcliffe, Bonnie Wright, and the guy who plays Lupin. Everyone else is incredible!

I am a big fan of the entire series they all do a great job but my pick goes to Emma Watson she plays a great Hermione :)

Snape's great. Both Weasley parents are excellent. Lupin's great, especially in the 5th movie without the stupid mustache he had in the 3rd.

dude evanna is EXACTLY like luna. As in they're actually the same person. Have you ever heard her in an interview? Even JK Rowling said "she's Luna!"

I think Alan Rickman portrayed a wonderful Snape, he is exactly the way I dreamed he was, not only in looks. Daniel did a good Harry, as well as Rupert did a perfect Ron. Emma wasn't as good as Hermione, cuz Hermione was a bit different in the book, Helena Bonham Carter would be second choice for me, since she did a perfect Bellatrix, she did really great.
Luna looked just like Luna from the book, as leesa said.
Oh, I almost forgot the hottie Tom Felton. Gosh, he did so great as Draco, he's better than Daniel actually. His selfish attitude and his looks are super faithful to Draco Malfoy.
I don't like the new Dumbledore, he seemed creepy in the fourth book to Harry. No way.
And Dolores Umbridge was perfect too.
I think almost every actors were 5 stars!!! Congratulations, great job.

In the Dumbledore comment part, I meant in the "fourth movie" My bad...

Evanna is absouloutley perfect for Luna

All the actors played their characters perfectly, even the extras who only got to be tiny specs in the Great Hall or in the stands of the Quidditch Pitch. No matter what anyone says, I love all these movies, and I always will. I can't wait for the last ones to come out, and even after they're done, I'll have each of them to watch whenever I want on DVD. Harry Potter LIVES!!

well my favourite characters from the books are all played very well in the movies BUT not that close to the books. I LOVE Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman and Helena Bonham Carter. But their characters weren't really that close to the book.

MOlly Weasly however looked and acted just like I imagined her. I loathe that character but its the character closest to my own ideas when I read the books.

These two play them so well. I'm actually obsessed with them currently. (Especially James.) But Evanna also does her role perfectly.
