Difference between American and British Versions of Harry Potter Series

Throughout the Harry Potter books, there are some variations between the Bloomsbury (British) and Scholastic (American) editions. Below the first section on "Philosopher's vs. Sorcerer's" is a section on other different terminologies used.

Du always hear people saying there are discrepencies in the Harry Potter books, but I have truly found a plot hole.

It is a major plot hole, I have noticed, in the Harry Potter series...A very serious one.

Everyone's always talking about how much Harry looks like his father, even Hagrid in the first book.

Molly and Arthur were in the order with Harry's parents ie James.

Why didn't Molly recognise Harry at Kings kreuz station?

He has the same black, sticking-up hair. And the scar!

And just look at the moment Fred and George told Molly that he was Harry Potter.

My Thoughts On The Fan Reaction To Dumbledore's "Outing"

Ever since J.K. Rowling revealed that Dumbledore was gay on October 19th i've had to Frage the fact about why this piece of information became
front page news.
Firstly to put my own opinion out, i personally think that this was a very Merida - Legende der Highlands thing of JKR to say and whilst i support this statement of hers, it doesn't change my perception of the books. Dumbledore is still the wise, old Headmaster who can make mistakes just like any of us, whom i learned to Liebe over the course of the books.
However, there are many Fans who now think that they can "never read the Bücher in the same way again"....

who's a better writer J.K. Rowling oder Stephenie Meyer?

i am talking about the writers.

Be Objective, who writes her saga's the best?

ok, in my opinion, J.K. Rowling is way better writer than Meyer.

Why?
ok, #1 J.K. Rowling has written 10 books.
#2 she uses a Mehr complex vocabulary and she creates a new one. with all the spells, names and a whole world of magic.
#3 the history she has to create Jahr Von year, has a really good continuity.
#4 Harry Potter characters have political and social foundations.
#5 the characters have to grow with the history and she make it look simple.
#6 she takes the risk of killing important characters, like...

The 2 Deathly Hallows Filme

*sigh*

Although I hate to admit it, it ought to be put into two different movies, much like the way Peter Jackson put content from the Two Towers into The Return Of The King.

It would mean that we'd get a much better movie than that last one which was like watching a car crash. (I had to look away.) The scenes look great, but we never get to see the events oder hear the lines before being wisked away to see another set and be deaf to another set of lines we ought to hear.

I really don't want that to happen again, because lets face it, it sucks. Thus, two Filme would be better. The first three...
