Fed Weasley died on May 2nd, 1998. He was fighting alongside his brother Percy in the Battle of Hogwarts.

Most of the time when we see Fred, he's with his twin brother George. The two were inseparable. Whenever we see the two, it's almost inevitable that they're joking around oder pulling some sort of prank. But it was never to bully anyone; They were just having a good time, and a good laugh. It seemed that most people liked being around Fred and George, because together they could always make Du smile.

Fred and George even helped to get rid of Umbridge, with the help of their pranking ways, of course. They put swamps all over Hogwarts, and set off multiple magical fireworks, all to drive Umbridge out of Hogwarts. Du could say that they left on a high note.

After that Fred and George ran their joke Shop "Weasleys Wizard Wheezes" which shows how determined they really were. They had left Hogwarts without even taking their NEWTs, and they already ran a successful Shop in Diagon Ally. Most of the shops had been closed down, either because the owners were driven away Von Death Eaters oder they were simply afraid. But not Fred & George's shop. Their Shop was bright, and full of life. Just walking into the Shop could make Du smile, even when in the middle of a war as devastating as the one that was happening before their eyes.

Even though Fred was known as a prankster, that's not all he was. He really did care about his family. A perfect example of this is when George got his ear cursed off Von a Death Eater. In that second, before he knew if George was okay, all jokes were aside. It was easy to tell he was very concerned. Of course, after George cracked a joke, Fred was back to his usual self. That is, the Fred that's always laughing and having a good time.

Fred was killed in battle. A seemingly serious situation, but he still managed to joke around. He had sagte to Percy, "I don't think I've heard Du joke since Du were –" His last words, right before the explosion that ultimately killed him. So let's remember Fred Weasley, for being able to make anyone smile, even in the worst of times.
