Harry Potter Article: HP... vs Twilight... LOL

itss an stupidity to compare this Bücher because they are completely different stuff :

- HP=wizards
TW=vampires & werewolfs

- HP=fighting against voldemort harry the boy that survive little romances between the characcters
TW=bella&edward Liebe choosing between jacob and edward fighting with vampz

- HP=many little plots ...
TW=not exactly a plot ... just a romance and its odds

- HP=- unlocks a whole new world for readers of ALL ages
TW= is a magic vampire/suspense/romance/young-adult novel series.

- HP=completely fantasty
TW=except for the fact that some character are vampz oder werewolfs ... that kind of thing happens in real and normal life ...

-HP=If there were sport for friendship and loyalty in the Olympics, Harry, Ron and Hermione would be the first candidates in winning the Gold metal.
TW= Now, if family Liebe is a sport in the Olympics, it's a guarantee that cullens will win the gold.

i have no Mehr reasons but people whats wrong with Du they are excellent in their own ways pleasee get over it ... i can say IM SWITZERLAND haha i Liebe them both ...
harry potter is wow ! when all began i was like stupid i have my uniform and all LOL ...
now im Mehr in twilight because of the theme ... it fits Mehr to what is happenong in my life now and i squeal when i see a silver volvo ...

THEY ARE BOTH FABOULOUS

skeloth I don't think they're being compared 'cause they're similar. I think it's just that Harry Potter is a worldwide phenomenon, and Twilight looks like it's going to be just as popular, so people want to know which of the two world-famous books people prefer.

LabraLege I like both! HP is like... love of my life! Twilight is just romance and vampires...and Edward!!!! :D I'm from Lithuania and nobody knows about Twilight here. It's never going to be as popular as Harry Potter

smoore23 Yes, Twilight is popular, but I don't think it compares to HP. Twilight is more of a romance, where HP focuses on other things and puts romance 2nd. I read Twilight and didn't think it was any where near as great as HP.

Darkangel6 I love em both but I grew up with The Golden Trio and just started with The cullens.

meyerama they shouldnt be compared just like the article says cuz if people have different opinions then they can keep them to them selves, i like them both the same, cuz they are so different how am i supposed to decide when there is nothing to compare!

twifanpire I so agree with you!!! I love them both!!!! I think I like Twilight just a little tiny bit more... It's just more my type of book... but Harry Potter is so awesome... I won't say anymore, because I think I'll get kicked out of here!

meyerama same, i am more into the romance, BUT I LOVE action to. the only thing i disagree with in the article is that it said that twilight doesnt have a plot! it so does have a plot, two main theme plots actually, one is the love conflict, the other is about all of the vamps coming after bells. but other than that yeah!!!!! im totally obsessed with BOTH!!!!!!!!!

duckey94 The only reason they're compared is because they have both become hugely popular and have entire universes of their own. But, I agree with you. They shouldn't be compared. They're too different.

jehan HP is so much greater..it covers a lot of things adventure,friendship,family,love and fight against evil and the characters are so wide.they have different personalities as to Twilight which is more on romance and struggle of their love..

H_Cullen I love both, i've been a devoted HP fan since I was 4, i've written reports on the themes in HP and used to just about kill people who said twilight was better. Now I've read both and while I adore Twilight and am much more interested in it than HP at the moment, I think that as Jehan said long term HP is better rounded with many world-wide themes and morals. HP is just a lil dead at the moment because the series is over and the movie has been postphoned with Twilight in its place! Oh and i have the uniform as well lol but twilight is more relavent to my life right now.

the_bunkster both are just really smart, there story lines are awesome, and this is evident coz everyone is in love with it, but i dont think anything will ever trump harry potter, its got years on twilight (dont get me rong i absolutely love twilight aswell, obviously, but harry potter was my first book love) they are way too different to compare

strawberrys they can't really be compared, and twilight will never be as famous as HP, Twilight is .. a girl book? I don't think so many boys is ..fans of twilight, but there are looads of boys who like HP. But I love them both :D

Confuzzle Since when is HP entirely fantasy? Look at the plot...someone kills Harry's Parents, he wants revenge. It's not about skill or wandwork, it's about courage and the ability to love. HP is as much fantasy as Twilight.
