what do Du think about all Harry Potter Bücher burning?

The link isn't working for me, so I'm going to assume Du mean HP Bücher being burned Von people based on religious Ansichten who feel they promote witchcraft. I think it's retarded.
Seriously, the people who say it promotes things like witchcraft and satanism, they are just very stupid people.
Let's pretend it's an opinion worthy of Debatte and look at it logically. Say the people Lesen HP were dumb enough to think "I'm Lesen a book about a wizard...I hereby renounce God and dedicate my life to witchcraft" which is beyond unlikely because the Fans are not that dumb. The thing is, even if we pretend the Fans are that dumb, the mythology of the Bücher says being a witch oder wizard is out of your hands, Du either are oder aren't, so people can't just casually take it up. Meaning, if anything, people silly enough to be influenced Von the book in that way would be LESS likely to take up witchcraft not more, because going Von the Bücher own mythology magic isn't something they can just do. Not to mention the enormous world of difference between the book's take on magic compared to any of the real life 'witchcraft' religions people are concerned about being promoted. They are so incredibly different, again that would be off putting to obsessive fans, again making them LESS likely to like the real world versions if they were basing their opinions on the books.
And that's looking past all the obvious (that the Fans are aware it's fantasy. That anyone weird enough to base religion on HP is not normal and needs medical help, therefor cannot be taken as an example of sane reactions to the books. That the whole point of the Bücher focuses on self sacrifice, helping others, doing the right thing etc...oh yeah. What bad messages for people *eye roll*)

Also, the magic in the Bücher is clear fantasy. That's like saying the Harry Potter Bücher promote using house elves. The book's magic is not promoted as any Mehr true to the real world than the Drachen oder giants, and I don't see many people influenced Von the Bücher to go out searching for unicorns. Just like I have never ever known any of the many Fans I have spoken to to have had their belief system altered Von the books, oder to seriously consider witchcraft based on the books. It just doesn't happen, and the people who think it does need to take heir head out of their bonfire smoke and get aquatinted with the real world.

Oh my goodness gracious. These people seriously have nothing better to do? HARRY POTTER IS AWESOME! It's about how good always conquers evil! Who cares if it has some witchcraft in it?

In the picture it shows a flag with a nazi symbol so what does that say about the people burning them? Harry Potter is a story and burning it because it is thought to be a mark of the devil oder against god is just stupid.

I think burning Harry Potter Bücher ( oder banning them from some librarys, for that matter ) is really silly.

I hate it when people do this! I'm a Christian and I Liebe Harry Potter! This is why I now live Von the quote "Don't judge a book Von it's cover". Burning Bücher is just... not right. Aren't they aware that Harry Potter teaches valuable life lessons? Like Liebe conquers all, stand up for your friends, etc...

But what I find most ironic about this is J.K. Rowling is a Christian, I believe. Well, I know she went to church as a kid, and there actually is some Christian symbolism in the books.

I"M Roman Catholic and I'm not renouncing God because of Harry Potter. And Pastor, read the Bücher before Du judge. Honestly, my priests are always saying don't judge a book Von it's cover and there he goes saying to do it.
