Harry Potter Antwort

Tigerlily888 said:
Stars Daniel Radcliffe Emma Watson and Rupert Grint all donned the red blooms. They were joined Von attendees Tom Felton and Ralph Fiennes and none other than J.K. Rowling herself — and not just because they looked dapper. The Blumen have a special meaning in England.

While Fans of the movie may think of the debut as "Harry Potter" Day, it was actually Remembrance Day, oder mohn Tag in the U.K.

Remembrance Tag was first marked Von King George V back in 1919, as a way to honor those who died fighting in World War I. A poem, "In Flanders Fields," where the Blumen bloomed on the battlefields of Flanders, gave life to the symbol of the red flower. The red color of the bud was a telling memento for spilled blood.

Similar to Memorial Tag in the U.S., it's a time to honor those who have Lost their lives in war. And wearing the red blume is still a tradition.

Searches on "remembrance day" were up 200% in one day. "Remembrance Tag poppy", "remembrance Tag mohn clip art" and "remembrance Tag poems" also saw large gains.

That's why the stars of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" wore their red flowers, even while on the red carpet.
