SRitchieable I'm sorry to say this but your guinea pig looks as though she has the 'itchies'. This happened to my guinea pigs occasionally, and it was cruel to leave them in that state. The solution: Clean out their pen/cage/environment thoroughly THEN wash the guinea pigs.
How to wash a guinea pig.
1) Run a warm (not hot or cold) sink/tub of clean water.
2) Find some human shampoo, possibly an organic variety (less chemicals) or one designed for children. A 'small animal pet shampoo' is more expensive but you could use that if you prefer.
3) Pick up guinea pig, being careful to support its hind legs.
4) Gently lower guinea pig into warm water. (Guinea pigs can swim).
5) Gently work the water into guinea pig's fur. Always be careful to keep their head above water, and beware of letting water flow into their nose.
6) Apply shampoo and lather.
7) Rinse.
8) DRY. Essential. Unless it is a terrifically hot day, wet guinea pigs need to be dried (towel or hair dryer) otherwise they will catch a cold.
9) Reward: Give your guinea pig its favorite treat then return it to its newly cleaned environment.
IF guinea pigs with 'itchies' are not treated, the 'itchies' can turn into manage/skin rashes/fur loss. It is much better to treat earlier, when a simple wash (and cage clean) will solve the problem.

I know how to wash a guinea pig :P
This video was filmed when she was not a full 3 months.
It has been almost 2 years, is healthy (never sick) and clean :P
I am not saying that it cleans itself - you have to wash your guinea pig, but guinea pigs and other animals also wash themselves ...
And if something does not fit you it's hard to say - you're the only person who clings to such details :P
