I like Jessica a lot...but this is just not going to work. She\'s Asian and she doesn\'t have the right voice for the US. It\'s not going to work for her or CL just as it didn\'t work for BoA or SNSD or Wonder Girls.  

I really hope she succeeds but to be completely honest, I don\'t think she will. I really hope she proves me wrong, but I just don\'t think she actually is talented enough to succeed in America. Yes she can sing and dance and has a pretty face, but I don\'t think it\'s enough. I just don\'t find her voice to be jaw-dropping amazing. Its hard for non-caucasians to really be known in the entertainment industry here. She has to be pretty fucking amazing for people to really give her a chance. This is my opinion. She has potential but I don\'t think she\'ll make it far. Good luck Jessica. 

2015 seems like the year for Korean artist to venture in the US if this is a US album and not a Korean solo. I wish them all including Jessica good luck.

I think she has a chance to be successful. the main thing about america is that you have to be able to speak good english. and since she is a native californian, that won\'t be a problem. Working with Jermaine Jackson....... I don\'t know about that. First let me say I\'m black and grew up listening to the Jacksons. Jermaine imo was a better singer than Michael, but he never had a successful solo career. it\'s like vhs vs. beta vcrs. beta was better quality, but vhs was the most popular. beta faded into obscurity. I\'d be more impressed if she got on with Pharrell,Timberland, or even Jay Z. It was hard for asians to be successful in music genres other than classical because record companies didn\'t know how to market them. Up until 15-20 years ago music was still racially segregated. white music played only on white stations, mtv,vh1. black music played only on black stations and bet. Latino\'s had their own stations too. There was very little crossing over. michael jackson was the first black person to have a music video on mtv. you never heard of any asian anything. that\'s why most asian-americans go to asia to work in the entertainment field. even now the asian tv stations are all on cable and come from asia itself. there are no primetime asian american stations. it\'s the same for radio. just local access. But the internet opened that up. It\'s a global world now, and people are ready to embrace new things. The main thing is for her to be true to herself and not try to copy anyone else\'s style. Anyway, i hope she succeeds.

I hope she succeeds in whatever she does after leaving the group... She deserves it as she worked really hard but came to no avail  even if she has the talent to be successful...

Not that I hate TTS, but I think Jessica and Sunny deserves to be in that sub-unit too as they have excellent voices... Meanwhile the other "dancing" 4 can also have a sub-unit

I read the title wrong, because I thought it said Jermaine Dupree (which would be a good move for any KPop star), but then I noticed it said Jermaine Jackson and...uh...yeah...

uhm Jermaine jackson doesn\'t have an impact in the music industry anymore... and not really janet since 2005.  I do hope Jessica luck in whatever avenue she chooses to explore... 

Her musical style doesn\'t matter. It\'s her looks that doesn\'t seem to suit american preferences: she\'s "too Asian" both in face features and manners. But maybe she can be more "american" (not "a cute Asian girl") if she wants ...
