Another shocking update for fans of Girls\' Generation! According to an exclusive report by Sports DongA, Jessica will be tying the knot soon with Tyler Kwon with whom she had been rumored to be dating for a long time. Afterwards, she reportedly plans to go to New York to study fashion design.

Sports DongA claims that after leaving Girls\' Generation, Jessica will embark on a new life through a wedding and her new fashion company, \'

Blanc.\' The article says that according to various entertainment reps on September 30, Jessica will be tying the knot with Tyler Kwon in May, 2015.

The reps state, "Preparations are already finished regarding the main wedding details. The wedding ceremony will take place in Hong Kong and she will live while traveling back and forth between New York, USA and Hong Kong."

SM Entertainment had included in their official statement regarding Jessica\'s departure from the group: "This coming spring, due to her personal situation, she notified us she will halt her team promotions with the release of one [more] album.."

While SM did not explain any further, it appears now that this personal matter may be her very own wedding in May!

In addition, after marrying Tyler Kwon, who took a great part in the launching of her fashion brand \'Blanc,\' she will study fashion design in New York. Allegedly, she has already looked into fashion schools in New York.

Meanwhile, Girls\' Generation has started promotions as an eight member group. They will continue having a fan meeting tour in China until January and Jessica will not participate in their dome concert in Tokyo, Japan in December, although she will continue being active under SM Entertainment until the end of her contract.

Terrible way to go though..If any of the members were leaving or the group would disband I would at least expect a \'goodbye\' concert or something of the like. Where SM, the girls and the fans where happy.

This is just a big mess and a horrible way to leave or being thrown out...

The way I got this was that she was planning to leave snsd but because of circumstances she was taken out early. And the members and sm agreed. So yeah

She obviously said she didn\'t want to leave. She isn\'t a traitor for trying to pursue a back-up career. She was kicked out plain and simple. Yoona has been doing allot of acting and missed allot of performances for GG. But I don\'t see anyone calling her a traitor. Jessica missing a few wouldn\'t have been a big deal cause Yoona and Sooyoung do it all the time.

The way I understood it, is that she had already decided to leave after the next album and focus on her company (and marriage if that is true) but SM and the other members agreed that it was in the best interest that she leave the group sooner rather than later.

A lot of people are picking sides but the truth is probably somewhere in between what SM says and what Jessica says.

But I think we can all agree that this could have been handled better. If it is indeed true that she was leaving anyway, they could have kept their emotions in check and make a joint statement. They could have let Jessica stay at least to the Tokyo Dome concert and had a goodbye segment there. That way everybody comes of looking good (even if they are mad at each other) instead of this public blame game and rumour fest blowing up in everyones faces

I respect her choice to let go her idol status and start her own life. I think its not SM fault (well im not a fan of sm ent btw)

After all this do you people still want to blame only SM ? Do yu really belive that Jessica plan all this in the last 24 hours ? I belive that SM knew about all that all this time and they were trying to find a solution. But Jessica didn\'t give them any other choice. It is clear now that she didn\'t want to have a new contract. And SM .... well .... they just made things go much more faster.

I wonder how much more years she has signed with SM. It would be hell painful seeing her do solo activities and her 8 sisters do something else too. It\'s gonna hurt seeing each other in one building when both parties knew they can\'t be together anymore.

i think she has 1 more year. But dont expect to she her solo. i dont think she ever will.

i love jessica. idols are human too. it is their rights whether to marry or dating.

It is kinda true, I guess. Because according to sources, Jessica wanted to leave Girls' Generation way back in Jan or Feb. She even mentioned to the other girls that she wanted to get married and start a new life. I think it's wrong the way SM is reacting with her. Also, I don't think that the main reason for Kicking her out is for she wants to get married. It's just for her fashion line 'BLANC'. I don't understand what's the prob if she starts her own fashion line? I mean, suju's Yesung has one and he's not being kicked out! It's an injustice to Jessica.
I just hope that Jessica can handle the situation and build herself as a strong person. I will really miss her...
