Why George R.R. Martin won\'t write a \'Thrones\' episode this season

 is over, it’s time to start getting pumped for the fifth. 

sat down with author George R.R. Martin and a few cast members to talk a bit about where each of their characters left off and what they’re looking forward to. One bit that’s exciting for book fans but mildly disappointing for show fans: When 

asked if Martin would be continuing his annual tradition of writing one episode every season, the author said no—he’ll be too busy writing the next book.
