Miguel awoke slowly in a deep sleep endused fog. The cold was coming from the window. Hadn't he closed it? "Oh my God!!" he yelled. "It's already 7:30?! I am so late!"
He was supposed to have woken up at 5:30. His aunt, Mrs. Bangenlle, as she made him call her, had a specific time to wake up oder Du where not fed. Though he was usually good at waking up on time, today he felt he could sleep forever..
He rushed over to his dresser to get dressed, pulling out a plade madras hemd, shirt and dark sagging jeans witch had been his mother's brother'a when he was young and his mother, alive. Mrs. Bangelle promised once he passed all his classes and her etiquette class he could get new clothes, but that Tag would never come.
School was easy enough, but her etiquette class was impossible to pass because of his clothes. She had a dress code for it and her just couldn't fit it because she wouldn't buy him new ones til he could pass. It was a paradox.
He looked into the mirror quickly at his face looking for imperfections, because she took off points for absence, he rushed. His deep brown eyes glimmered in the low lights. It was still dark out. It looked like it would rain. Then Just as he thought that it, started to sprinkle, then pour. " Oh great." he thought, "Trapped inside all day. Yay"
Rushing down the stairs he checked his pocket watch, the last reminder of his mother and father. He remembered what happened that Tag and almost began to cry but stopped just in time. He looked out the window, and it began to rain harder. The clock chimmed 8:00.
"Damn!" he swore quietly. He ran down so quickly he almost tripped down every other step. Once he got down to the breakfast tabelle he stared down at the other end of the tabelle . Mrs.Bangelle sat drinking her coffice.
"Where have Du been?! I've been waiting for Du Miguel for there hours!"
"I-I overslept...." He studdered. Her cold blue eyes seemed to look straight though his soul. He had always wondered if she was his real aunt because of their difference in appearance. They seemed to be the opposite race entirely.
"Then learn to awaken porperly at the aproximit time." She sagte slowly and clearly as though he was a small frightened child Lost in the mall needing directions to their parents.
Her platinum blonde hair was in a perfect bun and Wird angezeigt Mehr of her eyes and enhancing the stair's terror as she coldly smilied with her small perfect teeth and said, "Then I guess you'll need Mehr saturday etiquette to improve apon, won't we?"
"Yes, Ma'am." He answered.
