Emma stared into the surrounding darkness, and took a deep breath, looking out for the slightest movements, oder noises. To her left, Skipper was still chained up.
"Sis, a little help here?" He whispered. Emma nodded and used the messer to unscrew the bolts, letting the chains slip free.
"Skips, go to the control room and turn the lights back on." Emma instructed.
"Hey, first I'm the leader, and secondly, I'm not leaving Du Von yourself when some crazy psycho lady is trying to kill you." He replied sharply.
"Skips, Marlene and Ashley were up there, and now Tiatra's right hand man is, something might of happened to them." Emma told him. A flash of worry crossed Skipper's face, and he nodded, racing off towards where he thought the door was. Emma stepped around cautiously, her worry-stricken, navy blue eyes on the alert. The familiar laugh rang out again, and Emma clenched her flippers. She moved towards the Quelle of the laugh and made out a tall, dark rosa figure, standing proudly about 2 meters in front of her.
"You stand no chance." Tiatra boasted, her flippers on her hips. "You and your Friends are doomed."
"We'll see about that." Emma shot back, jumping at Tiatra, and tackling her roughly. Tiatra kicked the messer out of her flippers, and smirked. Emma growled irritably, and started dishing out all of the moves Skipper ever taught her, even before Tiatra arrived. Tiatra punched and kicked back just as forcefully, and managed to push Emma off her. Emma sprang up, and ran for her knife. Just as she was about to reach it, she felt a sharp pain in her back, making her stop dead. She turned her head, and saw Tiatra grinning evilly at her, digging a sharp messer deeply into her back. Tiatra twisted the messer then pulled it out. Emma dropped to the floor, and her vision began to blur. She stared up at the pinkish blob that she guessed was Tiatra, and felt her eyelids beginning to droop. The messer was still on the floor beside her, and she picked it up slowly. Tiatra laughed and looked down at her in amusement.
"Pfft, what can Du expect to do now, Du weak little creature?" She taunted. Emma looked at Tiatra's feet and noticed a silver, lightning shaped scar on her right foot. Emma looked back up at the tyrant and smiled.
"This." She answered, plunging the messer into the scar. Tiatra shrieked, and Lost her balance, as she fell to the floor. Emma pushed the messer even more, so it stuck out the other end of the villain's foot. Silver blood escaped from the wound, and Tiatra began to crawl away, towards the control room. Emma knew that it probably wasn't going to be fatal for the villain, but it would hopefully slow her down long enough for the others to find her. Emma tried to get up, but the pain was so intense that she couldn't bär to move. She lay there for what might have been hours, seconds, she didn't know, and part of her didn't care. Thinking started to hurt, and she focused entirely on staying awake. She managed to turn her head slightly, and things began to blacken as a white and black blob with a mohawk ran over to her urgently. Emma smiled weakly, and found herself unable to stop her eyes from closing. Then everything went black.
Meanwhile, Skipper climbed the stairs towards the control room, and burst in. Ashley and Marlene were gagged in the corner of the room, and Skipper let out a small sigh of relief. He sneaked up behind Carter, and slapped the back of his neck, making him fall unconscious. He then ran over to the bound animals, and untied them.
"Thank goodness your here sir!" Ashley exclaimed. "We were starting to-" Ashley trailed off, as he sniffed the air.
"What is it kiddo?" Skipper asked.
"Something's wrong..." Ashley muttered and his green eyes widened. "Turn the lights on." He said. Marlene nodded and she pressed the button, lighting up the hall below them again. Ashley stared down and saw Tiatra crawling away, near the door. Marlene pointed towards the group, who were now together, and crowding around something.
"What are they doing, Tiatra's over there, shouldn't they be stopping her?" Marlene thought aloud. Ashley sniffed the air and his jaw nearly dropped.
"I.. I think I know why t.. they aren't..." He stammered.
"Why?" Marlene asked.
"I can smell blood, not Tiatra's but someone else's, I'm not sure who's...." He explained, tiptoeing, and trying to see over the crowd. Skipper head-counted the crowd, and his expression turned panicked.
"Emma." He realised, practically flying out of the room and down the stairs. Ashley and Marlene exchanged worried glances, and wet to follow.
"What about that guy?" Marlene said, pointing to Carter. Ashley tied him up, then went after Skipper. As they ran down, they saw Tiatra crawling across the floor, and Ashley stood in front of her.
"You're not going anywhere lassie." He sagte firmly, crossing his flippers, and looking down at her sternly.
"Pfft, like Du could stop me." Tiatra replied mockingly. Strange gargling sounds echoed through the hall, and she turned into a tiny insect. She began to fly away, but Ashley caught her in a jar and screwed the oben, nach oben on. Tiatra made an angry buzzing sound. Because of her wound, she didn't have the energy to change again, for a while. Ashley held the jar carefully in his flippers and walked over to the crowd worriedly, the smell of blood intensifying. He peeped over Private and his herz skipped a beat in his chest. Kowalski, Skipper and Rico were sat down Weiter to Emma, trying to stop the blood from escaping. Tears were flooding Kowalski's eyes as he shook her gently.
"Please wake up Em.." He whispered, pushing the hair out of her face softly, and staring down at her sadly.
