Author's note: It was my turn to write chapter 3, so... Yeah. This chapter's Von me. X3 Enjoy!! ^^
The two trucks containing the two main characters of this story arrived at two different airports at two different times. The cargo, including the kittens, was loaded onto aeroplanes, both of which were headed for America. The one coming from China had a longer distance to travel, but it began it's journey much sooner than the one from England. This resulted in both the planes landing in an airport in New York at almost exactly the same time. It was an uncanny coincidence...
Chloe could smell fresh air. She burst forth from the box and the man who was carrying it gave a startled cry. Chloe ran and hid behind an aeroplane, planning to wait until the airport wasn't so busy. She listened to the humans talk to each other and observed her surroundings.
Mist-Wu did exactly the same, up until the point where she hit the ground after jumping out of the box. In a teilt, split Sekunde of panic, she had no idea what to do, oder where to go. The human that had been carrying her box was so surprised that he stumbled and fell over and dropped the box.
"You blithering idiot!" Shouted another man in Chinese. Mist-Wu could understand this, but Chloe couldn't. Mist-Wu limped quickly away from the humans and hid behind an aeroplane - the same aeroplane Chloe was hiding behind! She didn't see Chloe, though and bumped into her in her panic.
"Oh! Sorry..." She sagte in American/English (she assumed Chloe would speak that language). Chloe stared at her in amazement.
"You arrived here in one of those boxes, too!?"
"Why yes, I... I heard this country was full of free people."
"I was just tired of England. The Tiere there were miserable and grumpy." Mist-Wu got the feeling there was another, bigger reason for Chloe coming to America, that she was hiding. She didn't Frage it, though. "I'm Chloe. Pleased to meet you."
"My name is..." She wondered if she should tell this cat her real name. She didn't trust strangers. But what harm would it do? "My name is Mist-Wu."
They hid behind the aeroplane and talked. Both were careful not to reveal too much information about themselves and neither questioned each other, too much.
