M/N was lying in Stein's surgery, his stomach open and blood drowning him.
"Professor, can I come in?" Maka asked, Soul silently waiting behind her.
"You can, but M/N's stomach is open and his organs are visible." Stein replied, wiping his hand on a white cloth.
"Oh." Maka sighed. "You go in Soul, I don't think I can."
Soul showed no emotion and walked in slowly. His placed his hands in his pockets and stared at the bloody mess. Her could just see the herz beating so slowly. If it went any slower he'd be dead.
"Why'd Du do it?" Soul whimpered quietly, crushed to see his friend like this.
"It's all I could do to save him, Soul. There wasn't much hope for M/N in the first place." Stein sighed.
Soul made a fist, tears threatening to spill.
"It wouldn't of happened if we took him to a normal hospital!" He let out running away with tears falling down like waterfalls.
Maybe it was Mehr than a friendship they'd held.
Get up M/N, put me out of my misery.
Soul thought.
Maka tapped him on the shoulder.
"I've never really seen Du like this. You've got me worried." She spoke softly, comforting her empty weapon.

Meanwhile, Kid was rushing to get to M/N. He got caught up at one point trying to fix a spect of dust from ruining the world's symmetry.
There's no way M/N could leave this world without at least some symmetry around him.
Kid though, dashing into the surgery. It came quite a shock to him to see him being unsymmetrically stitched up, blood everywhere.
"You destroyed his symmetry, how could you?!" Kid cried, grabbing his friend on the shoulders. "WAKE UP M/N! PLEASE!"
Kid was shoved out and went to the lunch room to meet up with his weapons.
"How is M/N? He's okay right?" Patty asked hopefully, fiddling with her stuffed giraffe.
Kid shook his head and frowned.
"His symmetry has been destroyed too."
A while later, all of M/N's Friends were called back to see him. It was probably his final moments. His eyes were slightly open.
"M-M/N?" Maka asked.
"Hey Maka." M/N wheezed, his voice strained.
"Can Soul see you? It's really been bothering him." Maka explained.
M/N gave a nod and slipped his head back.
"Hi Soul." M/N greeted, sensing Soul's presence in the room.
"You'll be ok, right?" Soul asked with hope in his voice.
"You really are an idiot." M/N chuckled.
He opened his eyes gestured Soul to come closer.
"Tell me what's going on. Its the last time I'll need to know right?" M/N joked.
"Don't joke about it. You'll be fine. Du promised!" Soul let out with hurt and sadness in his voice. "I can't really take it. You're the problem."
Soul placed his lips on M/N and hugged him gently.
"You've been waiting a long tone for that, haven't you?" M/N asked, head back again with eyes closed.

How did he know? M/N knew a lot.
Then Kid ran in. M/N's heartbeat was going down again.
"Don't do it M/N! Du have too much to live for!" Kid urged.
"Don't be an idiot as well." M/N smiled, then coughing his herz away. "He's right M/N. Please." Soul begged.
"It's no use *cough* Du *cough* can't help *cough* me, this is my *cough* fate." M/N coughed, trying to smile.
Kid pulled M/N up and pressed his lips against his.
"That's fate too! Please live for me!" Kid cried.
"You guys are really on me today." M/N joked, followed Von a coughing fit.
"Thanks for being here for me. Have a great life don't waste it like me."

Then with a blink of an eye, he was asleep. A few Mehr hours of life left in him, but no physical activity. Was it the end of M/N, oder was there still hope?
