I welcome Du to the last stage before we begin the Annual Fanpop’s Got Talent 2014 . Now, each and every Frage about FGT 2014 will be answered as I don’t want Du guys to live in confusion when the annual contest starts. So in this Forum I will tell Du the basic rules for each category decided Von our selected judges and after my examination. If Du have any problem with any particular rule, don’t complain around instead just send me a private message so we’ll look upon it again. FGT 2014 Committee really respects everyone and we all want peace in the contest. Thanks, now let’s Bewegen to the rules.

What is a Haiku?
A Haiku is a short poem, originally from Japan. It built up of three lines of words. The first line contains 5 syllables, the Sekunde line 7 syllables and the third line 5 syllables. 2010 winning Haiku Von Diblover111 is a good example:

This is a haiku. (5 syllables)
I wish I had a pencil, (7 syllables)
But I have a pen. (5 syllables)

Haiku’s are traditionally about seasons oder nature, but since we are all modern people, and we Liebe artistic freedom, the Haiku’s for this contest can be about anything Du want.

How can I enter?
To enter the Haiku contest, Du will have to follow these rules:

1. Your poem must be a Haiku. In contrary to last year, we will be strict regarding the number of syllables. Poems that not meet this requirement will not be entered in the contest.

2. Don’t use Haiku’s that Du have gepostet online before. We will be checking for plagiarism and online names are always hard to track down. If we find your Haiku somewhere else online, it will not be entered in the contest.

3. Du can sumbit up to 2 Haiku’s per user. If Du want to only enter one, that’s fine too, but two each is the maximum.

4. Your Haiku(‘s) must be Abgeschickt before May 30! All poems entered after that datum will not be entered in the contest.

5. Send your Haiku(‘s) in a personal message to me, <a href=http://www.fanpop.com/fans/nmdis> nmdis </a> oder <a href=http://www.fanpop.com/fans/zanhar1> zanhar1 </a>. Do so Von clicking on ‘Send a Message’ on my Profil page. The subject of that message must be: *Your username*’s Haiku entry 2014.

How will the winner be chosen?
There will be special Haiku contest judges who will judge all Abgeschickt Haiku’s. They will chose their three favourite Haiku’s. Those will be gepostet as a pick, where the users of Fanpop will select the winner.

Rules
- Swearing IS allowed as are any themes, just don't get too explicit.
- Don't steal another person's work.
- It can be any type of hiku from the classic 5-7-5 pattern to a 3-6-3 pattern
