Kidding as usual. Actually, it's Sunday and I have some spare time on my hands so I thought I would write up some points I think need changing with the new layoot and I invite Du to CONSTRUCTIVELY make your points in the comments. My idea behind this is to have a collection of concerns that we can Zeigen the F4. This way instead of ranting and going "OMG I HATE DIS!" we can make ourselves heard. I know the F4 are awesome and have listened to us in the past. Remember the Wand debacle? Remember how they changed the layoot after we pointed it oot? Remember how they brought back the forums?

I guess you're already kind of resolved about this, but I thought I'd tell Du my standing on it anyway.

If I receive messages and Wand posts asking for me to Mitmachen spots oder 'fan' content from Fanpoppers who I have had no prior contact with, and I'm busy, I simply ignore their pleas, with the safe, sicher assumption that they've sent them to dozens of people, and even if I didn't want to upset them Von being non-responsive, they wouldn't notice.
However, when I have nothing on my hands (Fanpop-wise), I tend to check out their content and see if it's any good, and if I think it contributes to the club well,...

The Fanpop website has been around for quite a few years now- 3 years in fact, and whilst it is still relatively unknown compared to the likes of Myspace, Facebook and the so-called phenomenon known as Twitter, it is still for me THE website that I pay a visit to on a regular basis.

Fanpop was formerly a small relatively unknown website, whose number of members have grown, Monat Von month, Jahr Von year.

Well, I started using Fanpop back in May 2007, and since then I see how the community keeps increasing in numbers which is great. I haven't been the most active user for a while now, but as I sagte somewhere else, I've always loved the site and therefore I come back every once in a while to spend some time fanpopping.

There is something I've noticed lately, that is obviously hard to control as the amount of users grows, but I thought I would point it out. What I noticed is a serious misunderstanding of the idea behind the "props" feature.

The Fanpop Requisiten Flaw

The concept of the Requisiten is wonderful. Fanpop is a user based site and users should have the ability to reward others for their hard work. I also agree with the idea behind Requisiten Day. It should serve as a reminder to all users to give that reward. However, the Requisiten system has become flawed. Very flawed. I happened upon a user Profil and saw several props. I looked to see when the user started Fanpopping and saw that it had only been two months. Wow! This person must have added tons of content. So I looked at the activity. "Ghost Accounts" - 3 Reasons Why Du Shouldn't Cheat on Picks

So I was hanging out on my computer this evening, watching some Videos and browsing on Fanpop, when I noticed something that disturbed me. In not one, but two different spots. I discovered several examples of what I believe to be "Ghost Accounts".

"Ghost Accounts" are what I'm calling additional accounts created Von an already existing Fanpop member to skew the results of a pick oder an argument in their favor. I have read things gepostet Von other Fanpoppers suggesting their existence in the past, but hadn't knowingly spotted any for myself. Tonight I believe I spotted three different people doing...

Have Du noticed that people on this site add lots and lots of things and gain load's of Fans then out of nowhere are never adding again oder only add now and then. Look through your Fan Liste and see who is still adding and praise them for there loyalty and praise even Mehr oder even Requisiten them for their work, they all deserve it.

How To Make A good Pick On Fanpop!

Ok, I usually don't make user guides but this one needs to be made. I have seen a lot of picks and a lot of them are boring oder annoying. Here is a Liste of steps to help Du out.

1. Try to have Mehr than three Antwort if possible. If the Frage is "Who should Jim be with?" Put, Karen and Pam, and then put an answer like neither oder Katy.

2.Always have pictures for the Frage if it isn't a yes, no, oder maybe question. Pictures bring in Mehr Fans and make the picks Mehr interesting.

3. Try to ask Fragen that people haven't already asked and Fragen that people will be interested in. Don't make it boring.

Now these are the three golden steps to making a good, quality pick on fanpop. If Du feel I need to add anything, then please leave it in the comments.

I have a pet peeve.

As a writer, I have found my stuff gepostet on other websites without my permission, and sometimes without so much as a mention that it was MY article... oder a link back to the original. This ticks me off, and it is illegal to do so.

I have not come across this on Fanpop with Artikel yet, but I have seen it numerous times on images.

Some of the people I adore the most are even doing it. I have to assume innocence here and figure some folks just don't know... so I'ma tell ya ;)
