What is Plagiarism?
Many people think of plagiarism as copying another's work, oder borrowing someone else's original ideas. But terms like "copying" and "borrowing" can disguise the seriousness of the offense:
According to the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, to "plagiarize" means
1. to steal and pass off (the ideas oder words of another) as one's own
2. to use (another's production) without crediting the source
3. to commit literary theft
4. to present as new and original an idea oder product derived from an existing source.
In other words, plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else's work and lying about it afterward. (2)
If the authorship of a paper oder other document is not provided, cite the Autor using the word "Anonymous" (3)
As a writer, I have found my stuff gepostet on other websites without my permission, and sometimes without so much as a mention that it was MY article... oder a link back to the original. This ticks me off, and it is illegal to do so.
Not citing the copyright owner is theft, pure and simple. Besides, it is just the right thing to do.(4)
All it takes is when Du find the picture add it straight to Fanpop and have the page still up of who it belongs to. Write their name/screen name and what site it's from and this can clear up a lot of awkward Fragen of "did Du make this?" and unhappiness of people finding their work uncredited on other sites. (5)
Six leading academic publishers sagte Wednesday that they had filed a copyright-infringement lawsuit against a copy-shop owner in Austin, Tex., who sells packages of course materials online. The suit is believed to be among the first to take aim at digital distribution of unauthorized course packs. (6)

For quite a while I've been commenting on other people's picks and waiting for a reply, and refreshing the page, and refreshing the page, and refreshing the page, only to find that they haven't replied for 2 days and finally figure that they have probably gone on holiday oder actually have a life.
So I have thought up an idea to keep us aware of any Kommentare on our comments.... whatever; anyway I have thought up of a "keep me updated" button; this means that Kommentare appear in our update box as if we owned the content.

I like to post my ideas in an Artikel rather than a suggestions E-Mail because I like to see what my fellow Fans think. If it's getting annoying I'll E-Mail Du guys like everyone else does.
So I have thought up an idea to keep us aware of any Kommentare on our comments.... whatever; anyway I have thought up of a "keep me updated" button; this means that Kommentare appear in our update box as if we owned the content.
