Okay, i invited like 6 Friends here already, y isn't it giving me props??! wth! lol. do i have to wait? it's been a week now!

you'll get a number of Friends you've invited to Fanpop under the little medal thing on your page. however these are not actually props.
the Friends Du invite have to accept and makeaprofile for Du Fanpop to recognise Du have invited a friend to fanpop.
also, they don't know if Du just told someone to join, it has to be done through E-Mail through this site.

this is the thing that shows the number of Friends invited. this person hasn't invited any friends

I assume Du mean the "successfully invited X users" Icon at the oben, nach oben of your Profil page (just to the right of the number of ratings). Here's how I believe it works:

1) Du click "invite a friend" on a particular page and fill out one of the resulting forms (note: there may be bugs with the other forms, the only one that has ever worked for me is sending via e-mail).
2) Du Abschicken the form and a very suspicious message that reads exactly like spam is sent to your friends.
3) Your Friends must click the link in the e-mail message.
4) Your Friends must register for the site during that same browser session.
5) For each person who receives your invitation and registers for the site, Du get 1 credit in your "successfully invited X users" tally.

Note that this means the following will NOT give Du credit:
* people Du tell about the site in your own e-mail
* people Du talk to in person about the site
* people who see Du wearing a Fanpop T-shirt oder sporting other Fanpop merchandise who then go online and register
* people Du invited and who accepted your invitation before the "successfully invited X users" feature was implemented (harold sez: "D'oh!")
* people Du invited who looked at the site and decided to come back later to register
* people Du invited who started to register but then had to restart their browser oder computer
* people Du invited who cleared their browser cache/cookies before completing registration
* people Du invited who looked at the site for a long time before registering (most kekse, cookies eventually expire)
* people who read your invitation in one browser/on one computer, but registered using a different browser/computer

All of those could logically be considered people that Du got to Mitmachen Fanpop, but they don't get tracked Von the site.

The feature isn't perfect. No software feature is, of course. But following these tips may increase your chances of getting credit for successful invitations:
i) Send a message to your Friends in e-mail first, explaining that the invitation is NOT SPAM and asking that they make sure to use the invitation link to register if they're going to register
ii) Use the "invite a friend" feature
iii) Ask your Friends to let Du know their usernames once they register
iv) Tell your Friends your Nutzername (it doesn't Zeigen up in the invitation) so that they can find and "fan" Du once they've registered
v) Send an invitation to a different e-mail address of yours than the one registered with Fanpop. Take that invitation and post it in a note on other social networking sites, if Du use them. That way, people following the link from there and then registering may give Du credit for expanding the Fanpop community.

Just because Du invited them doesn't mean they accepted your invitation. If they did accept it, your little trophy (next to the props) would have a number underneath it, but if they did not accept your invitation, it will still be 0.

i heard- but this was a while back- that something was wonky with the invite tool and that it only showed the count if Du were logged on at the time of their acceptance. Im a bit fuzzy on the details tbh..Dr.D mentioned something ages ago.
also i sent myself an invite and saw that it looks pretty spammy- im not sure if Du know whether your friend accepted oder not!?
If Du are having trouble with it maybe use the "contact us" at the bottom of the page and Berichten your problem!?

What do Du mean "props"? Do Du mean the number on your "invited friends" badge going up? If Du mean regular props, It doesn't give Du Requisiten if Du invite a friend, Du have to earn Requisiten for what Du do on fanpop.

u get Requisiten for what u do for fanpop. Von adding images, quizzes, picks, comments, answers, links, Artikel (did i forget anything??).
if people like what u have added they will give u Requisiten because of the contribution u have made. u dont get it for how many Fans u have oder how long u have been a member of fanpop.

Your Profil says that Du haven't invited any Friends ie there's 0 under your trophy cup.
So either the people Du invited haven't chosen to Mitmachen Fanpop oder the feature is still wonky and no one has gotten your invitations (via email).
Either way, the number under the trophy represents the number offans one's invited NOT a Requisiten (reward) as such.

wat??? does't mean u invited ur Friends means tat u can get props!!! ur Fans send u props!!! ok, if u wanna send a Requisiten 2 some1 just go 2 their Profil page then click on the "give props" word below... u can type messages for them, then give them a prop!!! maybe i will send ya a prop... LOL
