Is there a way to change the Motto of a club if it's abandoned?

Well, me and another user were wondering if Du could oder not. If Du can could Du tell me the steps on how to do so?
It's for the Total Drama Island club, the Motto just says "A fansite for Total Drama Island", not very creative.
Oh and if Du could tell me how many characters are permited in the motto? So when/if I hold a contest people won't go overboad, that'd be great, thank you! :)
