Can Du help me find a story?

I am looking for a story about an animal that wishes to be either a human oder another animal.

Does anything like this exist oder have I gotten it confused with something else?

I'm sorry, but I don't know any book like that... if Du want like a book about a talking animal instead, there is a lot of Bücher on that. One of my Favorit Bücher is about a rabbit doll that thinks, if Du want something like that, but no sorry, not that I know of, I haven't read one of those Bücher in my life. :( sorry!
