Fairy Tail Why do Du think Hiro Mashima didn't tell us Natsu's age yet?

I think because his age has a relation with what happened 400 years ago

It's the same with all the dragon slayers, I would assume. I mean they are all ancient so Mashima probably want to build up some suspense for some big reveal about the dragons disappearance and the dragon slayers
