Chapter 1
Spencer Reid's Point of View :
It was 1:05 in the morning and Spencer had woken up with a cold sweat, apparently the case the team and him just had was pretty bad. It was about nine Jahr old girls that were being raped and murdered in Anna, Texas with roughly a population of 1,225 people everyone is connected. Turns out a local forth grade teacher was targeting girls while in school, he then looked up the girls addresses in the school's data base and would begin to stalk his students. After two weeks of preplanning he would kidnap his students at approximately 1 in the morning and then rape and murder them. And Von the time the team caught him, he had killed fifteen little girls and was kidnapping another, he was at his secondary location and heard the cops so he let the girl out and tried a shoot out with the cops which ultimately led to his suicide Von cop.
Just as Spencer's flashback finished, as if right on time, his stomach rumbled which also reminded him he was so tired when he got to his apartment Wednesday night he forgot to eat dinner. So Spencer went to his küche and found himself some cereal to eat, and before he knew it, it was 2 a.m. Thursday mornining and that's when he got to hear it. His phone rang and Spencer dreaded the walk from his küche to his nightstand (where his phone charged) because he was exhausted, emotionally drained, and quite frankly didn't want anymore FBI bussiness for a while. But when he looked at his phone to see who was calling at this ungodly Stunde he read "DAD", Spencer was hesitant to pick his phone up because the last time he saw and really talked to his dad he was accusing him of murder and of being a pedoplile. But Spencer assumed that the call must be important because of the late Stunde to decide to make a call, so he decided to put his thoughts aside and take the call anyways.
Spencer Reid : "Ummm... Dad do Du know what time it is here in D.C.? Well whats wrong for Du
to be calling this late?"
William Reid : "Oh, I hoped it wasn't too late, sorry to wake you."
Spencer Reid : "No, really its fine, I was up any ways."
William Reid : "Really? Why?"
Spencer Reid : "Its kinda a long story that i don't feel like talking about right now. So, what's up?"
William Reid : "Oh, right sorry. Okay ummm it's about your mother i got a call from the hospital about 30 Minuten ago. Something bad happened and the hospital is still getting things situated so i can't tell Du much right now. So, i think it'd be best if Du could fly here to Vegas just in case.
And i hope Du don't mind but i took the liberty to book Du a last Minute flight to Vegas and the plane leaves in about an Stunde oder sooner."
Spencer Reid : "Oh my god, I'll be right there, I'll pack for about two weeks just in case."
William Reid : "Okay Spencer, and hey, i just want Du to know it was nice to talk to Du now, although it probably would have been better if it was on better circumstances. Well, bye."
Spencer Reid : "Yeah it is nice to talk to Du so bye I'll see Du in a couple hours."
And with that the line fell silent and Spencer was left confused and packing like crazy, he couldn't help but wonder what was going on in Vegas that was so important that his dad called him.
When Spencer got to the airport his dad had sent him the ticket information and all Spencer had to do now was just call Hotch (his BAU unit chief). Although Spencer was somewhat frightened of what his unit leader would say once he gets a call around 3 in the morning.
