i was freaking out for a full three weeks, until i saw the foreshadowing and realized how beautiful the ending was (albeit very sad.)

I was crying too, but I could see that it couldn't have ended any other way really. It was fitting. I remember thinking- Once again, Joss proves that he's a genius! ;D

the very last line of the last song really slaps you in the face leaving you speechless. beautiful ending, wouldn't have been right any other way! (i was way shocked when the tragedy occured, but what followed was amazing)

now I love it, but initially I was super pissed at my boyfriend cause I was under the impression that it was a comedy and he didn't warn me that there wasn't a happy ending.

of course, now I love it. it's so beautiful and tragic the way he wins and gets everything he ever wanted... except what really mattered to him. it's just a gorgeous ending.
