Either works, I guess? The moral of the original fairytale was to teach kids to stay away from strangers, but the movie doesn't place as much importance on it.

I Don't really think it's either of these. I think it's more that vanity is dangerous, and that inner beauty is what truly matters. The Queen is obsessed with being the most beautiful of them all, and in her quest to be the most beautiful she ends up dying ugly and alone. Snow herself is more a plot device than anything in the movie, though she does serve to show that you must have inner beauty as well.

While the message of being positive is a theme that's thrown around, it really doesn't encapsulate the core conflict of the film.
