I find Belle generic and without flaws, by default of not doing anything.

Eh... I'm not really that much of a Tiana fan. I like her and all, but I love the others better... but I'll probably have to vote for her for at least a couple more rounds.

^^WOAH WOAH WOAH. Poca does just as much as Belle, maybe even more. And I don't see curiosity as a flaw, so that doesn't count for me. Could you point out any other flaws of hers? Besides curiosity, which is a matter of opinion, I don't see any flaws on that girl.

I agree with princesslullaby about Belle(maybe not the generic and not doing anything part). Too perfect and flawless, although I still love her.

I'm going to have to vote for her every round, and she's still going to win.

@firegirl1515: WHY perfect and flawless? Her curiosity was rather dangerous... And who out of princesses have too many flaws? Snow? Cinderella? Aurora? Tiana? at last Mulan is considered to be perfect. But nobody say they dislike that these princesses are perfect and so on.

^^She does NOTHING wrong! Defying a dude that's been a total jackass to you is perfectly justified. All of the others do one stupid, careless thing. Belle is the goody two shoes that anyone at the schools I go to would dislike.

@ppv- Oh god, are you serious? Are we going to get into an argument again? I don't like that Belle wishes for adventure and doesn't go after it. I don't think she needs to stay with her father, if he can go off into the woods alone at night to travel to another town, she doesn't need to stay with him. I think she's just too afraid/attached to leave. Generic, as in, I've seen a million heroines like her before, not that her personality is boring or anything. She's not fun, she has no flaws (curiosity isn't a flaw) and she just doesn't leave an impression on me. I'm honestly tired of defending myself everytime I pick Belle. This is the last time. Belle is my least favorite, but I still like her. Arguing with me is not going to change my mind. I don't start arguing with you everytime you pick Ariel, and she's my favorite! I don't analyze each and every reason why you don't like her and argue it. I just accept it, and I don't lose sleep over it. That's the last time I'm explaining.

^Here I can't agree, because you sometimes agree that Ariel has that traits which I dislike, you just like these traits or don't notice them as much as I do. But I just can't see your point about Belle, at all. Because phrases "without flaws" and "not doing anything" sound like being opposites when you explain it.
Your phrase "doesn't leave an impression on me" is much more better! And it's understandable, and after it I can't add anything, because all have different tastes.
But this formulating just makes me mad. SORRY I can't do anything with me, still respect your opinion.

My issue with Snow White is the rumor that she is 13 years old, which isn't a big deal in and of itself, but she's singing and pining for true love. Even though, once upon a time, girls did marry that young, that concept has always creeped me out.

And her voice (I know I will get reamed for this), but it sounds like she hasn't even hit puberty, which means she definitely has no reason to pine after the prince of her dreams. She's still a KID!!

Last, but not least, she's too sickly sweet. Even though I've been told I'm a really nice person, even I have defects. There is absolutely no defect in her personality, which makes her come off as naively perfect.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

@ppv- Belle and Ariel are two very different characters, so I can understand people liking one and not the other. :) It's fine.

I love Tiana, but she needs to loosen up and have some fun. I admire her for being devoted to her dream like that, but she needs to give herself a break once in a while.

Not a huge fan of Aurora. Even though people say she does have personality and I do believe them, but mostly because of her little screentime it's hard for me to see much of that personality. I also like the others more. -shrugs-

^ I feel the same way, but I feel sorry for Aurora because she was not given enough attention. In her eighteen minutes, you can tell she has potential to be a great character.

Uh, girls/ladies? I think pretty much from our own lists and constant mind changes going through are head its apparent that we all arent going to see each Princess the same way. I DONT hate any of them, Im a sucker I admit it. But Snow Whites voice annoys me. I think she was even the voice of a Munchkin in Wizard of OZ for a sec. I think all the Princesses have a flaw- put it in humorous terms:
Snow White: kind of a Ditz since she didnt get out very often, and too trusty
Cinderella:too passive at times, I would have told off her stepmother
Sleeping Beauty: also kind of a Ditz
Ariel: typical stubborn teenager, headstrong, and a little mouthy
Belle: a little stubborn, reclusive until she went looking for her father
Jasmine: another stubborn teenager, mouthy,
Pocahontas: headstrong, a little too curious
Mulan:people skills- as Mushu would say
Tiana: workaholic-she lost site of how to enjoy life and be with others.

As if I need to say that I really don't like Belle. Her personality is all perfect and refined. If she ever does anything wrong, it was always "in the best interest" and always works out in the end. Everyone looooooves Belle. The servants love her, the town love her, the Beast loves her. OMG, SHE READS. Well, isn't this just amazing? What the fuck were Disney thinking, let's make a Mary-Sue?
Besides that, she's definitely not the prettiest. She's plain, her hair is gross and she has no taste in fashion. At least Snow White's dress would look nice on somebody (unfortunately, that somebody is not Snow White) but not even Gok Wan could make that hideous yellow ball gown look attractive.
