Both of them are fugly in my opinion.

Ariel's dress this beautiful, Pocahontas's dress is kinda pretty but it's just not Pocahontas

I don't care if it's not Pocahontas. I really like this dress by itself.

I actually like both dresses. However Pocahontas' dress has way too much detail, which makes it look fussy and cluttered and also the fact that she only wears it to fit into a culture that she isn't comftable in is another negative, it just doesn't suit her. However I have to admit that I like the scene where we first see her in this dress, it is the moment in the sequel that I think....yeh, she is a princess.

Ariel's dress is really cute and I hate that every one says "It clashes" which personally I don't think is a negative, I actually like clashing colours, this of course only works in very certain thought out situations, however I have to admit I would never wear pink and red together, not that I wear either of those colours any way.

Without a doubt. Pocahontas' dress is a little too busy, but at least it compliments her in both colour and shape.
