i think Tiana has a tendency to lose temper when things doesn't go her way. Also, she doesn't respond to stranger greetings. She seems too occupied within her and that doesn't show much of social courtesy, except towards her friend Charlotte.

I know everybody who hates Ariel will vote her out first...mainly because she chose to love learning, and the unknown, and romance--- and defied her xenophobic father to do it. Though parents are right most of the time, that doesn't mean that THEY ARE ALWAYS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING. Parents can be very old-school in their views, and can have outdated philosophies/expectations of what their children should do.

Tiana throws a tantrum when she does not get her restaurant. Tiana is almost always angry about something, and when she opens her mouth and talks--- out come these negative, acerbic remarks about what other people are doing and/or believing. The only person Tiana respects is Charlotte. Tiana is the one who displays the least respect for other people. She's sharply critical of everything.

Ariel

Although Merida took things too far and was ungrateful at times for what she had, she did show respect even when she didn't want to. She was thankful for everything her father had done for her and over the bonding experience with her mother, she was very thankful for everything she had done for her as well. Near the end, Merida even finally gave in to the arranged marriage which was showing her graciousness and respect.

Ariel is also very spoiled and ungrateful but she does always show thanks when someone does anything for her. She has a flighty, free-spirit but she seems to genuinely mean well. When Flounder brings her the statue of Eric, she immediately hugs him in elated graciousness and same when her father gives her legs. She also is not the most respectful as she disobeys quite a lot but when she is not disobeying, she is mostly respectful (though again, not entirely).

Tiana never really showed much respect or thankfulness to anyone. Although she worked very hard, she also seemed to often take things for granted. I don't really remember her ever being that thankful for anything or showing much respect other than when she was working.

Any one voting for Merida have any reasons?
