growing up in that environment, I think they all would. Cinderella's been made to do that since she was a child. I only pick Ariel because she's the most disobedient and most likely to get distracted and flitter off or finally run away. Jasmine seemed pretty obedient to me overall, actually. She ran away once and that was about it.

I could see either her or Ariel, but we see Jasmine complaining about her situation. Ariel doesn't seem to mind being a mermaid, she just wants to be a human instead. Either one could, though.

Ariel would always find something more fun to do, and wouldn't be heading home to serve anyone in a hurry.

^ Ariel did not disrespect her father, her goal and desire to be a mermaid had nothing to do with her dad but with her not being content or feeling comfortable under the sea and in a mermaid form. The conflict and primary issue between Ariel and Triton revolved around Triton's unwillingess to accept Ariel's worldview or at least her right to have an unique take on things he was biased against and Ariel's inability to find a right way to address her point to him. Jasmine's conflict with her dad revolved around her being forced into doing something she did not want to do (arranged marriage) and she chose to run away and try to live an independent life instead. She would not have put up with mistreatment from Tremaine's side, she'd rather end up on streets with no money as she almost did.
