Bonjour! I think it's time to talk about Disney music, for Du Musik Liebhaber and Du Disney Liebhaber and Du Disney Musik lovers. (And I'm sure there are heaps of Du out there). This is very simple, I'm just stating one song from each movie and why I think it's the best one of that movie. The only particular order this Liste is in is from oldest movie to newest movie - this isn't a countdown. This is also entirely my opinion - no influence from other people.
So let's begin.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
"With a smile and a song", Von Snow White
I like this song because it's all about optimism and staying on track. It's a bit of a distraction song because she's just overcome being scared (quote: "I'm so ashamed of the fuss I've made") and she's trying to stay positive and tells herself and the Tiere that they're going to get through whatever dilemma they have. I like how it's simple but sweet and a not too long and the Musik fits well with her high Singen voice. I especially Liebe the line "Remember your the one who can fill the world with sunshine."
Cinderella (1950)
"A Dream is a Wish your herz Makes", Von Cinderella
This song is all about believing that your dreams will come true if Du just dream them and believe that they will come true. While this is not entirely true, I still find it sweet and a cute message. It encourages people to believe in their dreams which I admire. I like the addition of the birds' song and how the Musik is accoustic and flowing as it goes well with the soft voice of Cinderella.
Sleeping Beauty (1959)
"Once Upon a Dream", Von Aurora and Phillip (and the choir)
I'm a Fan of romantic duets... and dream songs as I'm quite a dreamer myself, like Aurora and Aschenputtel and actually, pretty much all of the princesses. I Liebe Aurora's voice (it's actually kind of sassy!) and I like how Phillip's voice enters and then the high-pitched choir. I think the lyrics are really nice too. It's a great song and easily the best in Sleeping Beauty. This is my opinion and a lot of other people's opinion's too I imagine.
The Little Mermaid (1989)
"Part of your World", Von Ariel
I think this is one of the best Princess' solo songs. This song and its reprise shows Ariel's passion for what she loves and wants (she looks really pretty in those scenes as well.) This really develops her character and the audience feels like she knows her really well. The reprise is also outstanding as it portrays her determination really well, and I Liebe the big crescendo at the end. Really beautiful song, and done really well.
Beauty and the Beast (1991)
"Beauty and the Beast", Von Mrs Potts
This song is my favourite. I think it's the most stunning and tells a fantastic tale. The scene is also fantastic and hugely memorable, and it's where Belle and the Beast know that they're in Liebe with each other. I Liebe the breaks of the song and use of the Piano and I don't mind Mrs Potts' voice. It's not as stunning as Ariel's. for example, but it's not terrible. I think it's just fantastic, purely for the message it conveys.
(And does anybody else think that the songs in Beauty and the Beast have the most unoriginal names ever? (Except for probably Be Our Guest. I mean, the names for the songs are "Belle", "Gaston" and "Beauty and the Beast"? Huh?)
Aladdin (1992)
"A Whole New World", Von Aladin and Jasmine
I know, I'm choosing all of the cliche ones that other people Liebe but I don't care. Aladdin's soundtrack wasn't thrilling for me but this song is really nice. I Liebe how Aladin is Wird angezeigt jasmin the new world that is shining, shimmering and splendid. I Liebe Jasmine's voice in this, and it's the only time she sings. And yes it is another romantic duet. I Liebe the tumblings and the turns and the Ansichten of the scenes and how they grow to Liebe each other. They're voices sound really nice Weiter to each other and when they overlap.
Pocahontas (1995)
"Colours of the Wind", Von Pocahontas
Nobody is allowed to blame me for choosing this song because it's really, really beautiful. The message is one of the best and I Liebe how she shows John the culture of her own people through nature and displays how important nature is and how it's not all about material objects; that we should take the time to think and learn. The Musik fits it beautifully at every part and I Liebe the "roll" oder whatever Du would call it. The native American touch is beautiful and I Liebe the majesty of it. Truly a wonderful song.
Mulan (1998)
"I'll Make a Man out of You", Von Shang
I find this song better than "Reflection" probably because of the scene. The scene is interesting (I Liebe battle scenes [and training too I guess], especially in Filme like Lord of the Rings, my favourite trilogy) and I like how it shows Mulan grow as not just a soldier but a person. I admire her persistence, and that she kicks ass, especially when she retrieves the Arrow and then beats up Shang. I Liebe how the song is still mysterious yet direct and how there are all of the voices Singen one line at once during the bridge. A nice song.
The Princess and the Frog (2009)
"Almost There", Von Tiana
I like this song because it's different. Instead of the usual amazing musical type songs, this is a jazzy song with a nineteen-twenties retro background style (which I love). Tiana's voice is very good and I Liebe the trumpets and jazzy Piano and how it's kind of a modern song. I also Liebe the piping in of Tiana's mum! I really like Tiana's hair in this song too...
Rapunzel – Neu verföhnt (2010)
"I See the Light", Von Rapunzel and Flynn
Yet another romantic duet (bet Du saw this coming). This scene is one of the most memorable parts of the movie I believe, and I Liebe the contrast of Rapunzel's high voice to Flynn's low voice, as I believe their voices match really well together. Of course the lanterns and the boat-ride part are really beautiful, and topped off with the duet it's very romantic and I like how they both realise their Liebe for each other and their blindness beforehand.
Frozen (2013)
"Let it Go", Von Elsa
This scene was one of my favourites. I Liebe this song because it's incredibly relatable for a lot of people. Elsa's voice is magical and I Liebe how she puts it all behind her and starts again. (I also Liebe the new dress and hair part, her dress is stunning and she symbolically let's down her hair). The Piano in this song is really nice and Elsa sings very well, especially during the bridge part where we realise that she can really sing. The ice palace is really nice and I am slightly jealous. The song is really, really nice and I'm glad it won an oscar.
Other exceptionally good songs include "I won't say (I'm in love)" Von Meg in Hercules. (One of my favourites)
and "God Help the Outcasts" Von Esmeralda in the Hunchback of Notre Dame
I felt like I should include the above songs because even though they're not in Disney Princess movies, I believe they deserve some recognition.
So that's my list. Hope Du enjoyed and please remember this is my opinion so don't include any harsh/mean/critical comments.
Merci et au revoir!!!
(Oh, and just in case you're wondering why I didn't include Brave, it was because I didn't believe any of the characters actually sung their songs. I do apologise if I made a mistake and they actually did sing a song. But I think maybe Touch the Sky was the most enjoyable, just in case you're wondering.)

Aschenputtel is my Favorit princess she seems like she really went through alot. I felt bad for her for all the bad things she went through but I feel I shouldn't feel bad for her because she was a strong person she got through it all on her own and strong people don't usually want people to feel sorry for them. They want them to help them get through it and Aschenputtel didn't have help to get through it she did it all on her own and that's the kind of person I want be. I want to be strong, independent, and be able to get through problems on my own and I can do that stuff I just want to get better at it. Aschenputtel is a leader not a follower she inspires people to want to be like her and have the courage she has and take on rensponsibility. I believe everyone can be like their Favorit princess if not even better. :)
