Aladdin: So here we were, early 1990's, and the Disney Renaissance was at its peek. The studios had produced two of the highest grossing animated films of all time and still were pushing on. However the team suffered a tragic loss with the death of lyricist Howard Ashman who surprisingly had had a large amount of creative input on the Zurück two films. (He named Ariel) It was even his idea to make the Weiter Disney animated feature, Aladdin released on November 25, 1992. However, much to the disappointment of many, this would be the last picture to showcase a royal fairytale princess for the...

Early concept art of Belle and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast; often considered the anderthalbliterflasche, magnum opus of the Walt Disney company was released on November 13, 1991. As most people know, it is the only traditionally animated film to datum to have garnered an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. This may have been due to the approach to this film. It was so unusual for an animated film; having a screen writer, Schauspielen director, flawless score, elements that were typically reserved for high-budget live-action films. So much care and detail was put into this film that entire Bücher could be written about...

Snow White

■In The Muppets at Walt Disney World, Snow White was the Disney character who had the biggest part in the story, besides Mickey Mouse.

■In 1988, Snow White was awarded a star, sterne on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

■Snow White is the first Disney Princess, being the main character of Disney's...

Snow White ___________________________

In the beginning of the Grimm's Tale Schneewittchen, Snow White's mother pricks her finger with a sewing needle and three drops of her blood fall onto the snow which lay on the ebony windowsill. Oddly enough, this made her long for a daughter of a similar color scheme. While this reflects the arc of the story: (white)innocence, (red)maturity & love, and (black)death, her name particularly represents a season when the world metaphorically sleeps only to be inevitably awakened with the coming of spring.

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As Du may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the Autor of The Phantom of the Opera is Von Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than Du Dream It scene...

So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus oder attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her rosa dress. I have also read many Kommentare debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. rosa Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came...

I loved my childhood, it was fun and crazy and there were no responsibilities but to study and to play. Sometimes i wish i could de-grow sometimes, if there's a word like that in any dictionary and be a child again. I Liebe being an adult too - freedom to make my own decisions, doing things the way i wanted and of course spending my own hard-earned money (haha). But i loved my childhood even more, the best part was not having any complex emotions to resolve.

I was just going over my photographs with my brother and we laughed and laughed till our ribs cracked coz we were looking absolutely ridiculous!...

Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the Disney Aladin film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, jasmin does not represent Arab oder Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, Jasmine...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this Artikel ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in beliebt culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

We all know the step-sister from Aschenputtel that ends up reforming in the sequels. However, many people seem to have criticisms about her because they feel that she shouldn't have been forgiven Von Cinderella, there was nothing to Zeigen that she deserved to be redeemed, and that it's ridiculous that she got to be redeemed but Drizella didn't. First of all, I think I need to explain where this idea of Anastasia reforming came from. In the original Charles Perrault version of Cinderella, Cinderella's real name was actually Ella. When she became a servant she would sleep Von the fireplace to keep...

Awhile ago, linkabout which Houses the Princesses would be in, and several of Du requested that I do one about the princes as well. I’m pleased to announce that this is it!

But before I begin my analyses, it’s time for some disclaimers…

1. About the Houses. Here’s how I tend to think of the Houses of Hogwarts. (Note: I will be saying the most about Slytherin, since Slytherin is most often distorted.)

Gryffindor: values bravery, daring, bold decision-making, rule-breaking, following one’s dreams, standing up for one’s friends, and being insgesamt “fun”/pleasant/courageous.

This is basically Elsa's character in a nutshell.I can relate to those words easily.
Elsa is without a doubt my Favorit Disney character ever because she's the one I related the most out of all the Disney characters out there.Let's get into Mehr detail why I Liebe her so much, shall we ;):

Originally,I didn't Liebe Elsa that much,I thought she was okay and felt neutral about her. That is until I re-watched the movie 2 months Vor and from that Tag on,I realized just how much I have in common with her.
It was like I was seeing myself in her,for me that meant so much, and I'm thankful for that.
Du see,my mom told me to hold back my emotions at school because I have big anger issues...

So,a lot of users on Fanpop did its' opinion on Frozen,so I wanted to write my own opinion on that movie, too. It's the newest Disney movie, and there's a lot of arguments on it,so I tought that I can make my thoughts on it.
I want to state that this is just MY opinion,I don't mean to hurt oder hate anybody.
Also, forgive me for few mistakes,English isn't my native language.
Enjoy :)

I like Frozen.I don't Liebe it,but I like it.The story is okay,the characters are good,and that's it.I enjoyed watching it,but I don't think that Frozen is perfect.

Well, I did link, and now it's time to Bewegen on to a new subject, noses. Some Disney Princesses have regular noses, some have noses that look good with their face, and some have a weirdly shaped, oder poorly drawn nose. Keep in mind that this is my opinion, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. Enjoy the article! :)

13. Jasmine

I'm not a huge Fan of Jasmine's looks in the first place, but her nose is definitely the worst of all the Disney Princesses! It's huge and hideous! It looks weird and if Du stare at it, it basically takes all the beauty that Du see on her off her face. I hate...

11. Mulan

She may be my Favorit Disney Princess, but I am definitely not a Fan of her design. In my opinion, her face is completely changed, it's made sort of chubby, with Mehr rosy cheeks. Her hair looks different, and I do like the outfit, but I don't think it Suits her, I don't think her appearance is unappealing to look at oder anything,...

For such a successful and expensive film, Frozen's complete lack of diversity (particularly ethnic diversity) really vexed me. Frozen has four main human characters and out of the four:
- Four are white
- Four are all apparently straight
- Three are blonde
Looking at this, Du can tell there is very little variation in Frozen's main cast. In ethnic terms, there really is no excuse of this. Frozen needed Mehr POC.

I have heard one main argument (read: excuse) why Frozen didn't have any racially diverse characters (and no: I am not counting black background characters). Some say that Frozen...

Obviously, Shan yu deserves the number one spot
I'm slightly obsessed with eyes. I Liebe drawing them, I Liebe looking at them, and when I look at the beauty of a person, princess oder not, the eyes play a big part in their attractiveness. So I decided to make an Artikel about my Favorit Disney Princess eyes. Honestly, they all have gorgeous eyes, so this will be difficult. But, I shall try my hardest. Oh yeah, Anna and Elsa are included.

Her eyes are a really pretty color. They are an amazing shade of blue, and... well, that's about all I like about them. The shape of them is really weird, and in a lot of shots, they are just...

This is a serious article. Eyebrows frame your face so Du need to have the right pair. I spend way too much time plucking and grooming my eyebrows so yeah, I think eyebrows are very aesthetically important. I noticed the results look a bit like my non-existent prettiest Princess Liste with a few exceptions of course.

13. Mulan
They are Asian looking alright, with the shape. I promise I don't have anything against big eyebrows but Mulan's kind of overpower her eyes and they look a bit untamed. They are definitely not bad, just comparing to the others. Shang has nice strong arched eyebrows though....
