Aurora was starting to get Mehr confident. After being scarred Von Maleficent, she had felt very uncomfortable with her appearance, and would refuse to go out in public, unless her face was covered. But she would still avoid people either way. She placed a lot of value on her appearance. But now she was Mehr confident. Her parents had convinced her to go out into public, without her face covered. She was worried. She didn't know how people were going to take this.


What if they hate me? Aurora worried.

"Stop worrying," Her mother told her.

"How did Du know I was worrying?"

"Pretty obvious, Aurora. Don't worry about it. They'll accept Du for who Du are as a person. Appearance doesn't matter, at all."

"Okay... But I'm coming back here immediately if anyone cares to call me ugly."

"You place too much value on your appearance. Don't."

"Ugh, I'm going to go."

"Okay."

Aurora walked out of the house, no covering over her face.

This is it. No covering, people will see my face.

She was planning to just take a walk.

Hopefully nobody will see me. She thought.

A person walked by.

Aurora froze.

The person looked at her face, and started to walk up to her.

"Are Du okay? Do Du need to go to the hospital?"

"No, I don't!" Aurora yelled.

A few people were there that Aurora didn't notice. They started to walk towards her.

"No! Don't look at me, please!" Aurora yelled.

They continued to walk towards her.
