eric has no paticular concerns , he can focus on love . Aladdin is concerned about find food, the beast , to break the curse, naveen to do a great marriage, john to explore virginia, shang to fight and Charming ... to nothing.

yeah, but the first thing he thought when he meet belle is "she might be the one who break the curse", no " i think i'm in love". I admitt he know for that he's got to fall in love with her, but love is a way to have what he wants, not his goal

that's basically his motivation through the movie. if he wasn't so obsessed about finding Jasmine, the movie would have no plot and Jafar would have taken over.

If he doesn't find love, he's a monster for ever. So yeah, I'd say that he was seeking it.

He needs the genuine love of a woman to break the spell, so I would think he was more desperate to find love then anyone else.

I agree he need to fall in love and earn the love of woman in order to be human again.Because if he didn't fall in love he and everybody in the castle would be doomed to remain what they were forever,there was no other way around it.So I think he was the most desprite if you know what I mean.

Eric, Beast, Charming, and Prince.

They were the ones that were dreaming of finding someone to love. For Eric and Charming, they didn't want to marry just any girl, they want to marry someone they love; someone they fell in love with. Same thing with the Beast. Additionally, Beast had to find true love to break the spell. He seemed to be the most desperate out of the guys. Prince has found someone to love: Snow White. The next problem is: find her for he did not know where she fled to when her evil stepmom plotted to kill her.

Beast because he had a curse on him that couldn't be broken unless both she fell in with him and he loved her it couldn't be one sided otherwise he stay a beast forever, but he for sure was truly looking for love.
