Depression Frage

Yo can feel very vulnerable and sensitive when in a depressed episode. what do people do to feel stronger when emotions feel out of control?

I heard of counting to ten and all that and breathing excercises oder visualization, anyone tried that? Does it help you?

It can take awhile to get out of a depressed episode weeks or
months so managing it is important.
