First of all, Fanpop is a social networking site too, so it would be included in this claim. In other words, it doesn't matter WHICH social networking site you use, according to this, it's still bad for your health if you use it too much.

But I don't know if they've met the burden of proof for this yet or not. You can find correlations between all sorts of things. For example, the decrease in pirates over the past centuries is directly correlated with the increase of global warming. Which is why the pastafarians believe that if we had more pirates, there would be no global warming!

At any rate, it is an interesting article. I do use social networking sites quite a lot, but I also see and interact with friends at least six days a week.

I hate facebook, good job i don't use it! it causes cancer!

Oh wait.....but if that's true so does fanpop, twitter, bebo, msn, yahoo, hot mail, any other site on the web.

*sigh* It seems nowadays doctors are claiming everything causes cancer.

I've had people close to me say that zsu zsu pets cause Cancer. After that one, I decided to not comprehend claims such as this. -_-
