harold Which debate does this address? I'm really intrigued by this one, and would love to see the arguments in favor and opposed, though any discussion of religion is going to be fraught with emotional baggage. I'm particularly interested in knowing what the "religion of peace" mentioned here is. I would selfishly assume that it is a reference to my faith, but I know that not everyone ascribes to that, and I can't assume that a Christian made this banner. The tags you've inserted don't really give me any clue as to which religion was intended. What are your thoughts? Edit: fixed some typos.

blisslikethis harold - this image belongs to what you might call the "conservatives are better than liberals" debate, which isn't really a debate at all so much as a lot of name-calling. also, since the Major is the christiany-ist Christian around these parts, i sincerely doubt it's referring to your faith. more likely it's what Ann Coulter would call the "religion of liberalism". to address the image itself - that's a pretty fucked up sentiment (pardon my language). you would seriously rather chuck a grenade at someone than concede that peace just might be a good alternative?? FUCKED UP. (begging your pardon again, i really can't think of a better way to phrase it). EDIT: i know we're not supposed to rate the content, but i can't, in good conscience, rate this higher than a 1.

ThePrincesTale In my impression this image refers to Americans having to ""fight"" against Islam, which, of course, is an utterly racist and hateful sentiment. I can't believe this is filed under the words "fact, truth, freedom, america, brave, free".
