Mornings come, stay and never go,
Windows open, and it's just us and the sky,
When we stay, no one really asks us why.

There's a dream, a laugh within our reach,
And we can catch the waves as they touch the beach,
We want to fly, and there's no one to teach.

When we cry, there are tears we could wipe away,
When we sleep, we're scared to lose the day,
And all notebooks are filled
My hair is awful,
Crooked teeth.

And yet in the mirror I see nothing less-
Than a smile and those are the perks of being alive
