Now that I’ve read the interview, I honestly don’t understand what the big deal is. This was blown way out of proportion imo, probably due to the fact that Damon and Elena Fans have been waiting so long and our couple is prone to taking baby steps vorwärts-, nach vorn that are followed Von huge steps backward. My Thoughts on SE as 'Soulmates'

From the beginning of The Vampire Diaries, all the writers have done has praised SE e.g:
"This Zeigen is always going to be about Stefan and Elena. It has to be. They're soulmates."~KW
As a DE fan, Kommentare like these have always lowered my confidence in DE becoming endgame oder even getting together at all! So I've always tried to concentrate on the writers actions rather than what they say. And from that I can see that DE have to be soul mates oder twin flames oder whatever Du want to call it. They can't be anything else. I've especially seen this proven this season.

Well, after thinking this through, I finally decided to start this article. It's not bashing at all, (so please don't if necessary), but it's just about my view on what I've read in TVD Bücher & seen on the Zeigen so far.

Now, in the Vampire Diaries books, Damon has made it clear Mehr than once that he loves Elena. It took him a period of time to fall in Liebe with her. Yes I know I've published loads about this here, but I just thought Du should be able to see my Kommentare from The Vampire Diaries Bücher spot about whether oder not Bonnie should be with Damon.

I actually don't think he is falling for Bonnie, but is caring for her. I think he is in Liebe with Elena, and I thought that was pretty obvious. There was nothing to suggest to me in the Bücher that Damon had deeper feelings for Bonnie and vice versa.

What Bonnie felt for Damon was just a crush, just like she crushed on most of the guys in the books. I think that if there really had been deeper feelings...

Ok, so the last three episodes of The Vampire Diaries were absolutely amazing. We have a couple new characters especially a new villian named Connor. I was really happy to see Alaric back in 4x02 with Damon. That scene was very sad and powerful. Now Elena is still getting used to her being a vampire and Stefan is teaching her to not drink human blood so she won't become a killer like he was back in the day. She can't keep any of the animal blood down so she goes to Damon for help and he offers her his blood and they have a blood sharing moment in the bathroom which was very erotic and HOT!!!!...

I have a feeling that Damon and Elena are some sort of twins. That they're two pieces of the same cube. They almost never need to say anything to eachother, to understand eachother. It's like it's their energy oder something, that speaks for them. Von looking in eachothers eyes, they know how the other feels. And that's one thing that I Liebe about them. Nina [Dobrev] is just so sassy when she’s Katherine. Du know, I remember last season when Damon would vamp out — put in the eyes and the teeth and the whole thing — it gives Du this license to sort of be a little wacky and it’s fun and Nina takes full advantage of that. But Elena, she’s so disarming. She’s so hauntingly beautiful and sweet that I think it sort of levels Damon. Du know, he’s truly figured out the difference between Katherine and Elena. There’s an ocean of separation between the two of them and I think he wishes that Katherine would’ve been Elena.
