Seriously Elena doesn’t want Damon to change. I wrote this after the episode where Stefan and Katherine were in the tomb but instead of Stefan and Katherine's Liebe affair being a dream, I made it real and had Elena find out. It's been a while since I wrote anything so bär with me.

I didn't think it would end like this.
How did we, a fandom with everything to hope for and everything to gain, end up losing everything? (OK, maybe we haven't Lost *everything* but that's what it feels like). I went to bett last night and couldn't sleep. Every Delena 'worst-case scenario' I never dreamed could become a reality spun round and round in my head. It didn't seem possible that Elena could be written out of the show, when she was the female lead.
Nina has not currently gegeben a reason for leaving, but it's probably down to 2 things.

Elena and Matt broke up because it wasn't passionate , but Elena and Stefan Liebe wasn't passionate too.
Stefan and Elena fell for each other " instantly" and they start dating in the Sekunde episode without knowing anything about each other, and then they start to see the worst of each other, Damon and Elena know the best and worst of each other because they were enemies , then friends, then best friend and then boyfriend and girlfriend , they have journey and Stefan and Elena don't....

People keep saying that if Damon and Elena become a couple; Stefan and Damon's relationship as brothers will always be broken. My alternative ending to The Vampire Diaries below, shows otherwise.

This was on the CW boards and it cheered me up a bit after the horrific episode. I never realized just how many references Damon and Elena have gotten about this...
