A worn out and exhausted Damon Salvatore pulls into the driveway of a beautiful two-story house, and suddenly, just like that, almost as if Von magic, his energy returns tenfold.
A certain glow makes its way onto the vampire's pale face, and the errors and trials of his Tag disappear almost instantaneously, as he parks his car and emerges from the vehicle, leaving behind any and all thoughts and frustrations of his day.
His herz abruptly picks up speed and he makes his way toward his destination, with a certain bounce to his step and anticipation in his soul.
He can't seem to enter the house fast enough, and within a couple of Sekunden he's taking the stairs two at a time with an irremovable grin on his face at what he knows awaits him. What always awaits him. And what always brightens up his Tag no matter what.
Once at the oben, nach oben of the staircase, he stops abruptly however. Damon stops and takes a deep composing breath before continuing and taking slow and light steps towards the bedroom. But what he sees when he reaches the room, renders his deep breath powerless and leaves him completely breathless.
“And this is your tummy. It's where all that milch Du drink goes!...And these little things are your feet, that you'll learn to walk on some Tag soon!”
Damon stops, speechless Von the sight of Bonnie and their eight Monat Jahr old daughter standing in front of their large mirror.
“And these little things are your hands, that you'll use to clap and do loads of things with.”
The vampire smiles widely, nearly goofily, as he leans casually against the archway of the bedroom, entranced Von the adorable sight before him.
“And this little thing is your nose, that Du use to smell with.”
Damon's herz soars as Bonnie, like all other times before, playfully taps the aforementioned body part, this time the baby's nose, and this time, instead of the mesmerized look of happy awe and adoration on their baby girl's face, she giggles and coos joyously, and Bonnie laughs as well.
It's the most entrancing and beautiful sight ever, and the vampire feels content to stay and look upon it forever. But his witch seems to think differently he soon discovers, as Bonnie suddenly looks away from their baby to meet his gaze head on through the mirror.
“Are Du just gonna keep staring creepily oder actually come in and say hi to us?” the gorgeous woman suddenly addresses with a teasing smirk on her beautiful face, that only causes the vampire to scoff incredulously.
“Didn't know it was a crime to stare.” he Kommentare with a haughty and indifferent facade, as he finally makes his way into the room, eyes intense and locked on the Supernatural before him.
“It's not.” Bonnie shrugs carelessly in reply to Damon. “Only for you. And only when you've been gone for half the day, and your family's been anxiously awaiting your arrival.”
At the sound of her words, the vampire's stubborn demeanor disappears, and he drops the offended act and places his hands on his witch's hips, turning her away from the mirror to face him.
“I missed you.” he breathes, before Küssen her deeply and breathlessly. “Have I told Du how much I Liebe Du lately?” he questions, with an immovable grin on his face.
“I never get tired of hearing it.” the suddenly flushing woman Antworten airily, and Damon kisses her chastely once more.
“I Liebe Du from the moon to the ground, from the east to the west!!” he declares officially, and Bonnie laughs heartily, melodiously.
“Oooh that's a new one. I like it!” she grins, just as the baby girl in her arms begins to whine slightly.
“Oh and daddy missed Du too, baby girl! So much!!” Damon suddenly exclaims, turning his attention to the beautiful baby girl reaching out for him. “How are you, Angeline? How's daddy's girl?!” he asks happily as he takes his baby girl into his arms and hugs her to him.
“She's missed you.” her mother informs, as the vampire makes his way to his Favorit recliner, with the little princess in his grasp.
“And I've missed her too. I swear I'll never be a best man again! How'd bachelorette party planning with the girls go?” he asks as he sits and proceeds to play with an already significantly Mehr happy and grinning Angeline.
“It was cool. I don't think Meredith will be the bridezilla Caroline and Elena were.” Bonnie smiles as she watches their daughter's kicking feet as Damon lifts her in the air continuously.
“Good. Because Alaric's a pain in the ass.” Damon smiles over at her, before turning his attention back to the baby. “Can I get a kiss, Angeline? Can daddy get a kiss?” he coos, pointing at his cheek repeatedly, and grinning as his baby girl leans in and presses her lips to his cheek.
“Thank you.” he hugs her close, and chuckles when she leans in once Mehr and kisses him again.
“And I get another?” he coos in surprise. “You are just too sweet to me.” he says before laughing when his baby girl leans in once more. “And another? Thank you, sweetie.” he tells her, before grimacing slightly when Angeline lays a particularly WET one on his face.
“I was waiting for it!” Bonnie laughs out suddenly, from her spot across the room. “I knew it would come eventually!” she grins as Damon narrows his eyes at her slightly and shakes his head in playful disapproval of her.
“It's okay, Angel, those are the ones daddy likes best.” he licks his tongue out at Bonnie before Küssen his little girl's forehead chastely.
“Come here.” he suddenly beckons over his beautiful witch, watching as the woman rolls her eyes dramatically before making her way over to him.
“I like to have my two girls near by.” the vampire informs, opening his legs up on the recliner and sighing contently when Bonnie sits between them.
The witch reaches over and caresses their baby's curls, a thoughtful look on her face as she runs her fingers through the soft hair.
“She loves Du so much.” she whispers quietly, as Damon stares studiously at her.
“And I Liebe her...” he kisses the back of Bonnie's neck chastely, and brings his free hand around to interlock with hers, and play absentmindedly with the ring on her finger. “And her mommy.” he gently informs, as the aforementioned woman kisses the back of his hand softly before releasing it.
“Thank you” he suddenly sighs heavily.
“For what?” Bonnie turns slightly to stare at Damon, nose scrunched up in confusion, and he kisses it.
“Driving Home earlier I realized something.” he sighs once more.
“Oh yeah? And what's that?” the witch asks playfully, Küssen Damon's chin before turning around in his arms once Mehr to face away from him and study their baby girl.
“That I had something to come Home to. Something Mehr amazing than I could ever imagine.” the vampire continues, bringing his arm around her waist once more.
“I had my sexy arsch wife and my beautiful baby girl at Home waiting for me.” he smiles with a certain twinkle in his blue eyes, as Bonnie suddenly turns around to face him once more.
“You gave me that, Bonnie. And I'm just so thankful. To have you...to have our baby...our family.” he lingers off, looking down at Angeline as she plays with his hand.
“And I can't wait to make it bigger.” he looks back up at Bonnie and winks at her playfully.
“Hey, slow down there, Liebe machine! I just had this one right here!” the witch in turn giggles, causing Damon to laugh from the joyful sound of it.
“But I want more!” the vampire whines childishly, before grasping the little hands playing with his. “I just get so happy when I see this one...” his tone turns Mehr seriously as he studies their baby girl. “She just looks so much like you.”
“She's a gentle blend of us both.” Bonnie corrects.
“Yeah Yeah.” Damon rolls his eyes at her familiar response. “I wanted her to look just like you. And she does...aside from my eyes of course.” he grins happily.
“And I just know she's inherited your mischievous rebelliousness as well!” Bonnie echoes, groaning out dramatically as she places her head in her hands.
“Not to mention your feisty stubbornness!” Damon reminds, gently prying the witch's hands away from her face.
“Yeah probably.” the woman in Frage sighs in reply. “But you'll be the one to blame for more, because she's a daddy's girl through and through.” she smiles.
“Mmm Hmm...” Damon grins proudly, before moving his arm from around Bonnie and turning his little girl around to face him. “You're going to be a handful, aren't you?” he playfully asks, before blubbering in surprise when the baby suddenly reaches out and pulls strongly on his lips.
“Yup!” Bonnie emerges from the chair, laughing uncontrollably at the sight before her, prompting Angeline's laughter as well, and as a result Damon's.
“You better not! Du better not!” the vampire exclaims playfully, tickling the Angeline's feet and stomach. “Be mom and dad's perfect little angel, okay?”
“Don't tickle her, baby. They say that makes them stutter, remember?” Bonnie reminds, and Damon immediately stills his fingers.
“Oh yeah. Sorry about that, sweetie! I didn't mean it! Daddy didn't mean it!” he exclaims, holding the giggling baby in the air for a moment before bringing her down and Küssen her forehead.
“Da Da!” the blue eyed child suddenly exclaims, grinning widely, and cooing madly. And Damon nearly haves a herz attack.
“No way! Did Du hear what she just said, Bon?!” the blue eyed man exclaims, looking up at his witch with wild eyes of excitement. “Her first words, da da!! She was calling me!” he says, shaking his head in awe, before turning his attention back to the adorable blubbering and spitting baby. “Say it again, Angeline! Say it again for daddy!”
Bonnie smiles as she watches her vampire prompt and cheer on their baby girl. And she doesn't have the herz to tell him that she's read that 'da da' and 'ba ba' are just syllables baby's are known for uttering at this age and Angeline wasn't actually saying daddy. Who knew...
“She's probably just tired now. She's had a long day.” the beautiful witch gently informs her husband, herz soaring at the look of wide-eyed childish innocence on his face.
“Yeah. She'll say it later on, won't Du Ang?” the vampire echoes hopefully, as Bonnie makes her way over to him.
“Let's put Angel – Jäger der Finsternis to bed.” she tells him, reaching her hand out and smiling as Damon takes it and emerges from the chair.
“And then Du can put me to bed, because I missed Du to...a lot.” the witch purrs seductively, and the vampire's eyes widen with intrigue before narrowing with suspicion.
“And you're wearing that red Unterwäsche I like, aren't you?” he asks, nostrils flared slightly with anticipation.
“Yup” Bonnie smirks naughtily, and Damon looks down and swiftly pecks Angeline's forehead.
“Okay baby girl, time to go to bed!”
