Penelope and Christopher had exchanged their e-mail addresses to one another afew days after the team got back to the BAU. She was his only true friend. He often e-mailed her to tell her how he was feeling and doing. She did the same. "I hope Du like the pirate earring I gave you." one of Christopher's e-mails said. "I do." Penelope replied back. After Christopher's dad was arrested, he was taken in Von a family member.
Penelope e-mailed Christopher every chance she got. She couldn't do it everyday because of her job and he understood that. The two Friends often used online language. They even used online slang sometimes. They made sure it wasn't bad because they didn't want to accidently offend each other. Christopher felt like he was whole every time he talked to Penelope. She was glad she could be his friend.
One time, the two Friends had been e-mailing each other when Christopher was having a rough time at school. "I just don't know what to do anymore!" Christopher's e-mail said. "Just stop and take a deep breath. Count your blessings. Clear your head." Penelope's e-mail assured. "I do have one blessing-shutting down The Choking Game website." Christopher's e-mail stated. "That's great!" Penelope's e-mail beamed. Christopher had shut down The Choking Game website right after he was released from the hospital. The two Friends e-mailed back and forth as Penelope helped Christopher get out of his troubles.
"Why are Du still talkin' to him Baby Girl?" Derek asked in a skeptical tone as he entered Penelope's office. "He's just lonely Derek." Penelope said. "I get you're tryin' to help him, but I'm sure he's got other friends." Derek stated. "He told me I'm his only true one." Penelope replied. Derek felt his nerves tingle. "Are Du sure?" he asked feeling like he was about to throw up any second. "I'm 120% sure Derek." Penelope answered.
Derek didn't really know why Penelope had continued talking to Christopher. All he knew was Christopher's decrease in peer-pressure. Penelope walked up to him. "I assure Du he isn't the person Du thought he was at first." she comforted as she put her hand on his cheek. Derek came to realization. "You're right Baby Girl. I guess I'm just alittle paranoid." he said. He walked out of the office and let Penelope continue e-mailing her friend.
"Please tell the doctor I'm sorry for texting about him! I feel really bad about that!" Christopher's e-mail pleaded. "You shall worry no more. He forgives you." Penelope's e-mail stated. Christopher felt relieved when he saw her e-mail. After hours of talking to each other, they had to go. The two Friends liked it when they had time to themselves when they could just e-mail each other all Tag long. Christopher was really a changed person after meeting Penelope. He was glad he met her. They even hoped they'd meet each other face-to-face again. After Penelope go off her computer, she went to find Derek for their little movie night they had planned.
