After that phone conversation, Spencer didn't have a nightmare when he went to bett that night! In fact, he had a rather pleasant dream. He and the team were out on the town having a good time. None of them had worries. Not even Spencer. They were in Rossi's backyard having a little get-together. JJ had even brought Will and their son, Henry, with her.
Spencer was siked to see his godson. "You wanna see something cool?" he asked Henry. Henry eagerly nodded. Spencer showed him one of his old magic trick toys he had when he was a kid. It was a little box where Du can make things disappear. Spencer put a pen inside the disappearing box and made it disappear. "Where'd it go?" Henry asked in a confused tone. "That's where magic comes in." Spencer answered as he opened the box and made the pen appear again. Henry gasped in total amazement. JJ smiled at the whole thing.
"Spencer! You're gonna miss the firework display that's about to start!" Penelope yelled. "Let's go see the fireworks!" Spencer told Henry as they headed to see the display. The whole team watched the display in happiness. After that was over, they had a mini dance party. Alex Blake, the new member of the BAU, had insisted she couldn't dance, but Derek encouraged her on giving it a try. She was actually pretty good! Then, it was on for the mean Italian cooking Von Rossi.
"Nobody can cook as good as you!" Hotch stated in a "sly dog" tone. "Try to learn!" Rossi joked. Hotch smiled as his family looked on. Rossi was cooking up yet another mean Italian dish. The rest of the watched his demonstration. "The secret is to always focus." he said. Spencer watched what his colleague did in amazement. "If Du don't know what to do, just leave it to me!" Rossi replied coyly.
After the demonstration, the team dug into the dish and ate every single bite. After dinner, they reminisced on the good times while Henry and Hotch's son, Jack, played in the backyard. Spencer did LOADS of reminiscing much to his surprise. "I remember when I contacted Garcia when I was infected with that virus. She didn't even give me a cheesy pick-up line!" he joked. "What was I supposed to do?" Penelope teased. "Don't forget that time when I Lost to Prentiss in that card game!" Spencer sagte happily. Spencer didn't like talking about that too much, but tonight, he did! Derek was about to burst out laughing as he tried to keep his drink in. For the rest of the night, the team reminisced, not giving a care about whatever went on in the world.
Spencer sighed in his sleep, wanting to keep on dreaming. THIS was a good dream. Spencer saw the light on everyone's faces from the dream. Even his own. He didn't hear a thing in the hotel. Not even the light snores coming from Derek! But unfortunately, the dream DID have come to an end Von force as the Eric Church song "Creepin'" blasted out.
Spencer groaned in dread as he hit the snooze button. He turned around and found it odd that Derek didn't wake up. Derek was still dead asleep and continued to snore lightly. *I'll wake him up after I take a shower.* Spencer thought. He headed towards the bathroom, thinking about the dream. *That was the best dream I've ever had since those nightmares occurred!* he thought in glee.
