I have been watching the show for about 5 months
and have seen most of the episodes out of WGN several times. It looks like Hank does odd jobs and just hangs out alot. some of the stuff he has done is to try and tear down a barn, uses his truck to advertise the Ruby, fixes a gum ball machine and puts it in the Ruby to make money. I don't think he pays for much because he always puts it on the tab. He borrows or tries to borrow money from Bret all of the time. The character development is precise and consistant. That is what makes Corner gas excellent!

Hank would be an interesting guy to know. The underdog you'd have to feel sorry for. link
